Bet $10 on Any Hockey Game, Win $200 if Either Team Scores a Goal >>

Arizona Coyotes (+170) @ Chicago Blackhawks (-200), o/u 6 (-120/+100)

We have a Central Division tilt between the bottom-feeders as the eighth-place Arizona Coyotes travel to Chicago to take on the seventh-place Blackhawks. The last time these two teams faced off they combined for 10 goals, and I expect a similar outing this time around.

Arizona has seen many high-scoring games recently as there have been six or more total goals scored in 10 of their last 14 games. The same trend rings true for Chicago as there have been six or more total goals scored in 12 of their last 15 games.

This matchup also features two goaltenders who are both fade-worthy. Karel Vejmelka is the projected starting goaltender for the Coyotes and has allowed three or more goals in seven of his last nine starts.

Across the ice, Kevin Lankinen is the projected starting goaltender for the Blackhawks. Lankinen has been awful this season and has allowed four or more goals in nine of his last 11 starts.

Best Bet: Coyotes/Blackhawks o6 (-120)

Minnesota Wild (+115) @ Washington Capitals (-135), o/u 6 (+105/-125)

The Central Division’s second-place Minnesota Wild travel to Washington D.C. to take on the Metropolitan Division’s fourth-place Capitals. Minnesota is a good fade candidate in this matchup as they enter this contest on the second half of a road back-to-back and are playing their third game in four days.

Since Minnesota is on the second half of a back-to-back, Cam Talbot should get the start between the pipes. Talbot has struggled on the road recently as he has allowed four or more goals in each of his last four road starts, posting a mere 0.859 save percentage and 4.50 goals allowed average over that stretch.

On the other hand, Washington will look to defend home ice as the betting favorite. Washington has been in great form recently as they are 9-4 over their last 13 games.

The Capitals could really use the two points as they currently sit in the second wild card spot just five points behind the Boston Bruins. If the playoffs started tomorrow, Washington would have to face the powerhouse Florida Panthers in the first round, so securing the first wild card is something this group certainly wants to accomplish.

Best Bet: Washington Capitals ML (-135)

Best of luck!
