Top NHL GIFT & Anytime Goal Scorer Prop Bet Picks: Saturday (10/19)
Betting the GIFT (Goal In First Ten) is simple. Pick whether or not a game will have a goal scored in the first 10 minutes of play (00:00-09:59). It's that easy and all you have to do is root for anyone to score and you win. It is one area of hockey betting that has a nearly league-wide positive success rate with 93.75% of the league currently cashing at 50% or better last season.
Anytime Goal Scorer props are even easier. Pick a player to score and if they light the lamp at any point, you win!

2024 Record: 11-19 | GIFT Record: 4-6 | ATG Record: 7-13 | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
Buffalo Sabres at Chicago Blackhawks
Buffalo will send out Devon Levi who went 10-8-2 with a 3.10 Goals Against Average and .899 Save% in 23 appearances last season. The 22-year-old is 1-2-0 while carrying a 3.79 GAA and a .874 Save% so far this season. The Sabres are 4-2 cashing the GIFT this season, including 3-1 away from KeyBank Arena including 2-0 in true road games (1-1 in NHL Global Series).
On the other side of the ice, Chicago will likely counter with Petr Mrazek in goal tonight and the 32-year-old is 2-2-0 while carrying a 2.53 GAA and a .911 Save% in the early goings this season. The Blackhawks are 2-3 this season cashing the GIFT but they are a perfect 2-0 on the friendly United Center ice.
The last time these two teams met back on November 19, the GIFT easily cashed on a Rasmus Dahlin snipe and celly at the 4:53 mark got things started in a three-point night for the Swede. It might not be him, but someone is lighting that lamp early tonight!
