Top NHL GIFT & Anytime Goal Scorer Prop Bet Picks: Thursday (11/21)
Betting the GIFT (Goal In First Ten) is simple. Pick whether or not a game will have a goal scored in the first 10 minutes of play (00:00-09:59). It's that easy and all you have to do is root for anyone to score and you win. It is one area of hockey betting that has a high success rate league-wide with roughly two-thirds of the league cashing at 50% or better last season. By the end of the season, that number should be upwards of 90% meaning there is plenty of money left to be made from GIFTs this season.
Anytime Goal Scorer props are even easier. Pick a player to score and if they light the lamp at any point, you win!

Colorado Avalanche at Washington Capitals
The Avalanche will roll out Justus Annunen to guard the net. The 24-year-old is 6-3-0 while carrying a 2.81 GAA and a .886 Save% this season. The Avs are 13-6 cashing the GIFT this season, with three of those cashes coming away from Ball Arena. The GIFT is 4-1 in Colorado’s last five games and 8-2 in their last 10.
On the opposite end of the rink, Washington will send out Logan Thompson to tend the twine. The 27-year-old is a stellar 8-0-1 while carrying a 2.63 GAA and a .913 Save% this season. The Caps are 13-7 cashing the GIFT this season, with a stellar 7-2 record on the friendly Capital One Arena ice. Washington has cashed the GIFT in four of their last five games and seven of their last 10 overall.
These two teams last faced off less than a week ago on November 15. Last Friday night in Denver, the GIFT cashed on a Parker Kelly wrister at the 02:00 mark. Given the extremely recent cash between the two teams, as well as their combined 26-13 (.667) record cashing the GIFT this season, this prop should have no problem hitting.
