Top NHL GIFT & Anytime Goal Scorer Prop Bet Picks: Wednesday (12/11)
Betting the GIFT (Goal In First Ten) is simple. Pick whether or not a game will have a goal scored in the first 10 minutes of play (00:00-09:59). It's that easy and all you have to do is root for anyone to score and you win. It is one area of hockey betting that has a high success rate league-wide with 87.25% of the league currently cashing at 50% or better this season. By the end of the season, that number should be upwards of 90% meaning there is still plenty of money left to be made from GIFTs this season.
Anytime Goal Scorer props are even easier. Pick a player to score and if they light the lamp at any point, you win!
We went 3-0 again on Monday and my published picks are 20-7 since Nov. 23, including an immaculate 12-0 cashing GIFTs and an 8-7 record on ATGs. Some people might shy away from such a truncated two-game slate like tonight’s. I say “Let’s roll.”

New York Rangers at Buffalo Sabres
New York will roll out Igor Shesterkin to tend the twine. The 28-year-old is 9-10-1, carrying a 2.95 GAA and a .910 Save% this season. The Rags are 20-7 cashing the GIFT this season, with eight cashes in 12 games (.786) away from Madison Square Garden. The GIFT is 4-1 in New York’s last five and 8-2 in their last 10.
On the opposite end of the rink, Buffalo will send out Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to guard the crease. The 25-year-old is 8-7-3, carrying a 2.82 GAA and a .902 Save% this season. The Sabres are 18-10 cashing the GIFT this season with a 12-5 record on the friendly KeyBank Center ice. The GIFT is 3-2 in the Buffalo’s last five games and 6-4 in their last 10.
These teams’ combined 38-17 record (.691) cashing the GIFT this season including a 20-9 record (.690) in these home/road conditions means the lamp should light early tonight in this battle of New York City vs. New York State.
