Dallas Stars (-137) at New Jersey Devils (+114) | O/U 6.5 (-105/-115)

The Stars are on a great run, winning four of their last six. The offense has been their driving force through the season, as they are third in goals scored and ninth in expected goals percentage. Jake Oettinger should be in the lineup 48 hours after his game against Philadelphia, but if not, they might turn to rookie Matt Murray as Scott Wedgewood is dealing with an injury.

The Devils had been treading water most of the year as injuries have prevented them from having their full lineup on the ice. It might be catching up with them, as they are now 2-3-1 over their last six contests. They've had a lot of ice time, with them being on the second leg of a back-to-back and their third game in four days.

Nico Daws will be in the net for New Jersey, and besides his performance against Florida, he's been lackluster lately, and his team has not given him much support.

Pick: Stars Moneyline (-137)

Pittsburgh Penguins (-137) at Vegas Golden Knights (-114) | O/U 5.5 (-138/+112)

It's been hard times for the reigning champs as they've hit a huge rough patch. After starting the season 20-5-5, they are just 6-8-0 since, which has mostly to do with their inability to keep players healthy; Jack Eichel will miss a significant amount of time after having surgery, and he joins Shea Theodore, William Karlsson, William Carrier, Michael Amadio, and Adin Hill, who are also out.

The Penguins have had their peaks and valleys throughout this season, but they might have finally hit their stride. The offense has been clicking lately, with a 61.32 expected goal percentage over their last 13 games, going 8-2-3 in that span. The top lines have been doing damage, and they have six guys with 25 or more points, including Bryan Rust, who missed 13 games. The defense that was shaky most of last year has been great, with Tristan Jarry and Alex Nedeljkovic each allowing under 2.70 goals per game.

With so many players out for Vegas, it’s understandable the Pens are road favorites. They should grab the win as the hotter team right now.

Pick: Penguins Moneyline (-114)

Edmonton Oilers (-146) at Calgary Flames (+122) | O/U 6.5 (-142/+116)

The Oilers' current run is absolutely insane. They have won a franchise-high 12 straight games, which is tremendous when you remember Edmonton has won five Stanley Cups, and legends like Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier have worn that uniform. They've also racked up 40 points in 23 games (20-3-0), and they've gone from being one of the bottom offensive teams to the fifth-best.

The Flames are not on that type of run, but they have been playing well after a tough season start. They are currently 10-5-0 in their last 15, averaging 3.53 goals per game.

Based on how well the teams are playing, and this being one of the more polarizing rivalries in the league, it's hard just to give the Oilers win 13. These matchups tend to be high-scoring, and that's the best way to the side.

Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals (-142)
