Top NHL Picks & Predictions: Golden Knights vs. Ducks (Sunday)
The Stanley Cup Playoffs continue today with two more contests. I've got you covered from a sports betting angle, as I've narrowed in on a duo of best bets from the continuously shrinking postseason betting board. Here are my top NHL picks and bets for Sunday, May 10th’s game Golden Knights vs. Ducks.
Sunday's Best NHL Picks & Bets: Golden Knights vs. Ducks
Last: 1-1| Postseason: 8-6 | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Vegas Golden Knights (-122) vs. Anaheim Ducks (+102) | O/U 6.5 (-108/-112)
Vegas’ Mark Stone left Game 3 early with an injury, and his status for Game 4 is up in the air at the time of print. Should Stone be scratched from tonight’s game, that is a plus for the Ducks in more than just the obvious benefit of an opponent’s top player out. Vegas is 31-17-12 with Stone in the lineup this season. The Golden Nights were 8-9-5 when Stone didn’t play.
That’s 31 wins in 60 games in the regular season and seven more wins in nine postseason games. That makes Vegas’ record, including the postseason, with Stone in the lineup, 38-19-12. Because it’s the postseason and OT losses don’t mean ANYTHING positive, Vegas is essentially looking at a situation tonight in which they are 8-14 for all intents and purposes this season.
On top of all that, Anaheim is 4-2 against Vegas this year, 3-0 in the regular season, including 2-0 on home Honda Center ice.
Back the birds!
Pick: Ducks Moneyline (+102)
