Justin Faulk Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+135)
The St. Louis Blues look to advance as they host the Minnesota Wild with a 3-2 series lead following Tuesday’s 5-2 win. We successfully hit this prop in that game and are going back to the well once again.
With the injuries to Marco Scandella and Torey Krug, Faulk has significantly increased playing time as he has logged over 25 minutes in each game this series. With the increased ice time, Faulk has been able to rattle off more shots on goal as he has gone over this figure in three of the last four games.
While Scandella and Krug are questionable to play, I like this number to go over whether they return to the lineup are not. Allowing over 31 shots on goal per game this season, Minnesota is a good matchup for Faulk to continue going over this total.
David Pastrnak Over 4.5 Shots on Goal (+100)
The Boston Bruins look to even up the series 3-3 following Tuesday’s 5-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. We can expect Pastrnak to see the ice plenty in a must-win game, and he will be instructed to fire shots on net.
Before Game 3, Bruce Cassidy reunited the Marchand/Bergeron/Pastrnak line in what ended up being a great decision. Over the last three games, this line has produced 16 combined points.
Playing alongside two guys who can set him up in high-danger scoring chances all game long, Pastrnak should be able to surpass this figure. Pastrnak has gone over this figure in each of the first five games in this series.
Adrian Kempe Anytime Goal Scorer (+145)
The Los Angeles Kings look to advance to the next round as they host the Edmonton Oilers with a 3-2 series lead following Tuesday’s 5-4 overtime victory. Kempe played hero for the Kings in that matchup as he notched the overtime winner, which capped off a three-point night for the Kings’ winger.
This season’s leading goal-scorer for the Kings, Kempe finally broke the snide in Game 5 as he logged two goals on nine shots. Despite not scoring for the first four games of the series, I like Kempe to follow up Game 5’s performance.
Serving as the trigger man on the first line, Kempe should get plenty of chances to score once again. Additionally, Edmonton will be thinner defensively in this game than in Game 5 as Darnell Nurse is suspended for this contest due to head-butting Phillip Danault.
Best of luck!
