Artemi Panarin Under 0.5 Points (+125)

The New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes enter Game 5 tied at 2-2 following New York’s 4-1 win on Tuesday. New York will have a challenging task going on the road for this game as the Hurricanes are 6-0 at home in the playoffs.

Carolina’s starting goaltender, Antti Raanta, has stepped up in a big way when playing at PNC Arena this postseason and will be tough to score on. Through those six home games, Raanta boasts an immaculate 0.968 save percentage.

Additionally, Raanta has allowed more than one goal on home ice just once in these playoffs. There are some troubling trends regarding Artemi Panarin, which is why I am fading him in this game.

Panarin has only registered two points over the last six games, with both of those points coming on home ice. The Rangers’ winger has failed to record a point in three straight road playoff games, and PNC Arena will be a difficult environment to break that streak in.

Johnny Gaudreau Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-105)

The Calgary Flames will look to force a Game 6 as they now trail 3-1 in the series following Tuesday’s 5-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. We successfully hit this prop in that game and Game 3; therefore, I need to go back to the well once again.

Johnny Gaudreau has now gone over this total in six straight and eight of his last nine games. I think we are still getting plus money on this prop solely because four is a high total for a shot prop; however, Gaudreau has proven that It is too low for him.

As part of the star-studded first line, Gaudreau should have plenty of chances to fire shots on net as he plays alongside Matthew Tkachuk and Elias Lindholm. Coach Darryl Sutter will most likely rely on this line heavily in Game 5 as they now face potential elimination in this matchup.

Best of luck!
