Top NHL Prop Bets for Saturday, March 12th (2022)
We have a full day of hockey with today's 10-game slate with an abundance of options to pick through for prop bets. I went 2-1 with Thursday’s Prop Bets, hitting a (+265) anytime goal scorer. I look to repeat that performance as I give out my three best NHL prop bets below.

Adam Henrique Anytime Scorer (+235)
The Pacific Division’s sixth-place Anaheim Ducks travel to New Jersey to take on the Metropolitan Division’s seventh-place Devils. This is the second meeting between these two teams this season, as the Ducks won the first matchup 4-0.
The big story for this game is the second-straight missed contest for the Ducks’ electrifying rookie center, Trevor Zegras. With Zegras out, Adam Henrique has filled in the first-line role.
Henrique has been playing great hockey lately as he has seven goals scored over his last nine games. In Zegras’ absence against the Predators on Thursday, Henrique was able to find the back of the net.
I think Henrique can get it done again, especially facing a vulnerable Devils defense that ranks 22nd in the league in five-on-five expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA).
Pavel Zacha over 0.5 Points (+105)
The Ducks/Devils game has another key injury, this time on New Jersey’s side as second-line center Nico Hischier is expected to miss his third straight game. Stepping up into the second-line center role has been Pavel Zacha, who has seen a large increase in playing time due to Hischier’s absence.
In the two games without Hischier, Zacha’s playing time has ballooned to an average of 18.67 minutes per game. This figure marks a 29.65% increase in playing time compared to his previous five-game average.
Playing on New Jersey’s dangerous power play unit, I do not think that Zacha will struggle to record at least one point. Zacha now has at least one point in eight of his last 11 games.
He also has a good matchup against a Ducks team that ranks just 22nd in the league in opposing goals scored per game this season.
Tyler Toffoli o2.5 Shots on Goal (-115)
The Atlantic Division’s fifth-place Detroit Red Wings travel to Calgary to take on the Pacific Division’s first-place Flames. Calgary is my personal favorite to win the cup, while the Red Wings have been on a terrible slide recently as they have lost six of their last seven games.
Tyler Toffoli has found a new home in Calgary since he was acquired from Montreal. Toffoli has gone over this number in six of his last eight games.
Detroit is a great matchup for Toffoli to keep it going against. This season, the Red Wings rank just 26th in the league in opposing shots on goal per game (33.1).
They have given up even more shots recently as opponents are averaging 36 shots on goal per game over the Red Wings’ last six games.
Best of luck tonight!
