Top WNBA Betting Odds & Picks for Wednesday (8/3)

The WNBA returns to the hardwood tonight, as six teams are in action as the playoffs quickly approach in just over two weeks. With so little time left in the regular season, there are plenty of seeds left to decide, as more teams than ever are within reach of the coveted 6-8 seeds.

Let’s take a closer look at how things might shake out tonight in the WNBA.

Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream,  7:00 PM EST

Sitting dead last in the WNBA standings, the Fever have now lost an atrocious 14 games straight and are thus far the only team (long) eliminated from the postseason. On the other side of this matchup, the Dream has lost four straight but still sits just a half-game out of the eighth and final seed.

Look for the Dream to get back on the wagon Wednesday, routing the Fever to pull within playoff contention.

Bet: Atlanta Dream -8 (-110 at DraftKings

Minnesota Lynx vs. Seattle Storm, 10:00 PM EST

Currently sitting just behind the Dream in the 10th seed, the Lynx have won two straight to pull ahead of the New York Liberty and within two games of the eighth and final seed. The Lynx will be visiting a team in the Storm who just clinched a postseason birth with their 19th win.

While seeding will undoubtedly be top of mind for the Storm, I look for the Lynx to come into this game hungrier and keep it close throughout.

Bet: Minnesota Lynx +6 (-110 at DraftKings)
