Top WNBA Playoffs Betting Odds & Picks for Sunday (8/21)
Two more teams are on the brink of elimination in the 2022 WNBA playoffs, as the Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics will look to stave off elimination following their Game 1 losses on Thursday. Can the Connecticut Sun and Seattle Storm close the door in their respective three-game series?

Dallas Wings vs. Connecticut Sun, 12:00 PM EST
Trailing by just three points heading into the second quarter, the wheels fell off for the Wings as the game progressed, ultimately losing 93-68 as the game quickly got away from them. The Sun’s elite frontcourt can largely be to thank for that, as the combination of Alyssa Thomas and Jonquel Jones was dominant, picking up 34 points and 18 boards combined on the night.
In a pivotal Game 2, I expect the Wings led by standout Allisha Gray to be competitive, keeping this one close late in a must-win game.

Washington Mystics vs. Seattle Storm, 4:00 PM EST
The Mystics were riding high heading into half-time on Thursday, holding a two-point lead following a strong first half. Taking a one-point lead into the fourth, the Storm’s stars took over as PF Breanna Stewart led the way, finishing with a team-high 23 points on the night.
As the series stays in Seattle, I expect the Mystics’ own PF Elena Delle Donne to have something to say about going home, as her 26 points in Game 1 were amongst the best performances of the first round.
