While Tottenham is yet to pick up a win this season, the team scored twice against Aston Villa and managed to score once last week to force a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Coventry City just scored four goals against Newcastle, marking the team's first multi-goal game of the season. Even with those four goals, Coventry City has scored just five times in six games. For as bad as Tottenham has been this season, this is also a team with two clean sheets, so I'm not ready to fully throw my support behind Coventry's offense just yet.
All of this information points to a Tottenham win, but I can't justify a price of -205 for a team that is winless this season. Additionally, the price for Tottenham to score more than once is -227, which is even more outrageous, considering this team has just three goals in six games. Therefore, I recommend backing Tottenham to win by multiple goals, as the defense shuts down a Coventry offense that isn't as good as its most recent result suggests.
