UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs. Jiří Procházka Betting Guide (2022)
The UFCâs debut in Southeast Asia has finally arrived, as the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, will play host to a great night of fights this Saturday. In the lead-up to the fight, the Road to UFC will debut at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Thursday and Friday, a tournament-style UFC competition featuring fighters from all over the world.
Regarding Saturdayâs pay-per-view, the card offers great fights from top to bottom, with two title fights serving as the co-main and main events. Letâs take a closer look at the main event of the evening and see where the value is ahead of Glover Teixeira vs. JiÅà Procházk facing off for the light heavyweight belt.

The oldest first-time champion in the UFCâs history, heâll look to grab another record on Saturday in becoming the oldest to make a successful defense of his belt. Taking it from Jan BÅachowicz in October at UFC 267, it was Texâs second straight submission win fifth fight to finish inside the distance in his last six (all wins). The win over BÅachowicz extended his record of 13 finishes in the UFC, the most in the lightweight divisionâs history.
Unfortunately for the newly crowned champ, the UFC wasted no time giving him an absolute killer in JiÅà Procházka. Given this title shot despite fighting twice in the UFC, Procházka is a former Rizin light heavyweight champion and hasnât lost since December 2015 in a tournament he fought back-t0-back fights on the same evening.
In his last 10 fights, all victories, Procházka has ended seven via KO/TKO in the first round, and 25 of his 28 professional wins have all come via KO/TKO. Approaching the prime of his career, Procházka poses a real threat to the chance, and the odds donât suggest otherwise.
Bottom Line
While Texâs rise to the title after losing his first shot in 2014 was an incredible story, he has his hands full in this fight against the hand-chosen future of the division in Jiri Procházka. Texâs best shot at getting this fight to go his way will be to get Procházka on the ground, but from what weâve seen so far in his career, that will be a tall task for the lanky and athletic Czech.
It might not be in the first round, but I expect the risk-tolerant Tex to take his chances and get caught, with Procházka ending this one before the final bell as he has done so many times in the past.
Pick: Jiri Prochazka To Win By KO/TKO/DQ -135
