UFC Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) Odds, Preview & Betting Guide: Season 6, Week 4 (2022)
In the first three weeks of Dana Whiteâs Contender Series Season 6, 10 contracts have been awarded. A future star was almost surely on display last week as former NCAA DI champion wrestler Bo Nickal won his match in a matter of minutes, so quickly another DWCS fight was scheduled instead of a UFC contract.
There are 10 more fighters competing tonight at the Apex, all expecting this to be the night that changes their lives forever.
Letâs examine the possible trajectory of the action in more detail.

Jack Cartwright vs. Jose Johnson
With a flawless 10-0 record, British bantamweight Jack Cartwright will enter the octagon this evening to face DWCS veteran Jose Johnson. Cartwright, who is the current Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, has successfully defended his title three times in that promotion before this bout.
Johnson, a contender in season 4, lost that match to Ronnie Lawrence and then fell to Mana Martine in a Fury FC title match the following year. He has won two matches in a row since that time, both inside the distance, and will look to parlay a third into a UFC contract tonight.
Despite Johnson coming into this fight with a noticeable size advantage (6â² vs. 5â9â³), I predict Cartwright will win this battle and enter the UFC as Johnsonâs quest continues down another path outside of the promotion.
Pick: Jack Cartwright (-105 via DraftKings)
Thomas Paull vs. Esteban Ribovics
Jumping right into the main event this evening, Golden Ticket lightweight champion Thomas Paull and Kill Cliff (fight camp) fighter Esteban Ribovics square off to close out the night.
All 14 of Paullâs professional fights (11-3) have taken place inside the distance, and he enters this match on a three-fight winning streak that he plans to turn into a contract as he makes it four. However, he will be up against the toughest opposition of the evening as Ribovics has won all 10 of his professional fights, all of which were decisive victories not left up to the judges.
Paullâs journey has been amazing, and he hopes to become the third deaf fighter to sign with the UFC, but I donât think that comes tonight against a more skilled and noticeably bigger fighter in Ribovics.
Pick: Esteban Ribovics (-285 via DraftKings)
