UFC Fight Night Sandhagen vs. Yadong Prop Bets: Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Bantamweights will serve as the main event this Saturday at the UFC Apex, as a pair of top 10 fighters will go at it as Cory Sandhagen takes on Song Yadong. Before we get there, however, a host of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) alum will face off in what is a jam-packed UFC Fight Night card with tons of value.

Let’s take a closer at a few of my favorite prob bets of the night.

Joe Pyfer (9-2-0) vs. Alen Amedovski (8-3-0)

The first fighter in the current season of DWCS to get an official shot in the big leagues, Joe Pyfer will make his UFC debut on Saturday. In his first stint in DWCS, Pyfer lost to current UFC fighter Dustin Stolzfus, just the second loss of his career.

As for Amedovski, he comes into this one still in search of his first UFC victory, losing all three since joining the promotion in April 2019. Expect fireworks early from a fighter in Pyfer, who has won five of his nine wins inside of the distance.

Bet: Joe Pyfer – First Round Win (+105)

Trevin Giles (14-4-0) vs. Louis Cosce (7-1-0)

One of my top UFC predictions for this card is this welterweight bout between Trevin Giles and Louis Cosce. On average, between these two since joining the UFC, their average rounds come in at just 1.8, with 90% of their combined wins coming inside of the distance.

Ring rust will also be a factor in this fight, as Cosce will be making his return to the octagon for the first time since 2020. The loss, which came in the third round via KO/TKO, was not just his first professional defeat but his first to ever leave the first round.

Giles has a similar proclivity for violence inside the octagon. In his 28 fights as a professional, just three have gone to the judges, as his striking is amongst the best in the lower half of this division.

Coming into Saturday, these two are averaging a combined 11.31 significant strikes per minute and 2.6 knockdowns per 15 minutes, as this fight has all the makings of a dramatic finish. With little speak of in the way of grappling history, we can expect these two to stand and strike early and often.

For me, all signs point towards this one finishing well under 2.5 rounds.

Bet: Under 2.5 Rounds (-150)
