UFC Vegas 69 Andrade vs. Blanchfield: Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)
Jessica Andrade is filling in for Taila Santos on short notice and will fight Erin Blanchfield, an up-and-coming prospect looking to make a splash in the rankings. Following a massive PPV card, this card is a bit underwhelming, but some veterans like Jim Miller and Ovince St. Preux will be throwing down on Saturday night. The prelims will begin at 4 p.m. EST on ESPN+, and the main card will start at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN+.

UFC Vegas 69 Andrade vs. Blanchfield: Parlay Picks

Leg 1: Mayra Bueno Silva money line (-475)
Marya Bueno Silva is the widest favorite on the card, and there is a good reason for that. She is facing Lina Lansberg, who will enter this fight on a three-fight losing streak and is about to turn 41. Silva is 31 years old, and when there is an age difference of 10 years, the younger fighter wins 70% of the time. Lansberg has been in the UFC since 2016 and has amassed a record of four wins and six losses. Silva is 4-2-1 with three submission victories via armbar, which is in play in this fight despite Lansberg never losing via submission. These two fighters are heading in different directions, and the odds reflect that.
Leg 2: Zac Pauga money line (-275)
In the co-main event, Zac Pauga will fight Jordan Wright in the light heavyweight division. Pauga lost his UFC debut to Mohammed Usman but was up on the scorecards before getting knocked out by the heavy-handed Usman. That fight occurred at heavyweight and was The Ultimate Fighter’s finale. At his natural weight class, he will have better cardio, which will help when Wright attempts to take it to the mat. Wright averages 3.60 takedowns landed per 15 minutes, but Pauga will be ready as he trains with Curtis Blaydes with Elevation Fight Team.
Wright lands 5.67 significant strikes per minute and absorbs 7.54 strikes per minute, which is usually his downfall. Once he gets hit, he does not respond well, and his defense goes out the window. Pauga, on the other hand, lands 5.71 significant strikes per minute and absorbs 2.14 strikes per minute. He has won many fights by decision, which is atypical for a light heavyweight but is a good strategy against Wright.
Leg 3: Jessica Andrade money line (-130)
As stated above, Andrade is a short-notice replacement, which is likely why the odds are near even. She fought less than a month ago when she dismantled Lauren Murphy on the feet, landing 231 significant strikes in the three-round fight. Andrade will be fighting Erin Blanchfield, a dynamic wrestler that will not stop trying for the takedown once it gets stuffed. She is a fantastic chain wrestler but has not faced a fighter from the top of the rankings. Blanchfield is 23 years old and is 4-0 in the UFC. None of her opponents have been in the rankings, although she lost to Tracy Cortez (13th ranked currently) before entering the UFC. She averages 4.00 takedowns landed per 15 minutes but will have a tough time taking down the powerful Andrade.
Andrade is a former strawweight champion and has fought for the belt multiple times. This fight is in the flyweight division, but Andrade has been competing in both divisions for the past couple of years. She will have a 4-inch reach disadvantage, but that is not unusual with Andrade, who stands just above five feet tall. Andrade has power that most women do not possess and will be far superior to Blanchfield while striking. If she can thwart the grappling of Blanchfield, then she will be able to find her groove on the feet. She lands 6.80 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 5.26 strikes per minute and can land punches in high volume. Blanchfield will have her hands full in her biggest test yet.
