UFC Vegas 71 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Best Longshot Bet (2023)
UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili gets underway this Saturday at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. This card features plenty of noteworthy scraps that should lead to an entertaining night of fights.
These weekly articles typically involve two plays. However, one of the wagers revolved around Ricardo Ramos, whose fight was canceled on Friday morning after he drastically missed weight by a whopping eight pounds. Below, I will walk through my best longshot prop bet to make for this event.
This play is 0.5 units or 0.5% of your betting bankroll.

Ariane Lipski vs. JJ Aldrich
On the preliminary card, there is a flyweight bout between Ariane Lipski and JJ Aldrich. Projected to be a lopsided affair, Aldrich is currently priced as a -400 betting favorite, and for good reason.
Winning three of her last four fights, Aldrichâs lone loss over that stretch came against Erin Blanchfield, the current number four contender in the division. Simply put, Aldrich is better than Lipski in pretty much every single aspect of mixed martial arts.
She is more accurate, throws in larger volume, boasts a better striking defense, lands more takedowns, is more accurate in her takedowns, and boasts a better takedown defense. Not only does Lipski not have any real strong path to victory, but she also enters this bout in much poorer form than Aldrich.
Losing three of her last four fights, Lipskiâs chin has been her demise, as all three of those losses came via knockout. Aldrichâs knockout prop is a bit more juiced than it should be because of the fact that she has not recorded a knockout since joining the UFC.
However, the power is there as Aldrich boasts two knockout victories prior to joining the UFC. Lipskiâs chin should be an issue, making Aldrichâs knockout prop worth a shot.
Pick: JJ Aldrich via KO/TKO/DQ (+345 via BetRivers)
Best of luck!
