Warriors vs. Lakers: NBA Preseason Odds & Picks (Friday)

There are only two games on tonight’s NBA slate.

The Heat-Spurs matchup can be found on TNT at 7:30 pm ET, while the Warriors-Lakers will play on ESPN2 at 10:00 pm ET.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers

It’s a standalone game on ESPN2. I imagine that LeBron James and Anthony Davis play in this matchup. The Lakers are already 2-1 on the preseason. Anthony Davis is getting minor minutes to begin the year, but at least he’s playing and being efficient. Los Angeles has a ton of talent on the bench, including new pickups like Gabe Vincent and Jaxson Hayes. Even Christian Wood and Rui Hacimaura off the bench aren’t so bad.

Meanwhile, they’ll take on a Warriors team that already beat the Lakers 125-108 earlier in the preseason on October 7. The Lakers didn’t have James for that game, but the bench actually played pretty poorly. Golden State’s starting five played in that game, minus Draymond Green. Moses Moody added 15 points, while Jonathan Kuminga scored 24 points in 24 minutes.

The Warriors will be more consistent. Let’s take Golden State to earn another win against the Lakers in this one.
