MLB Best Bets
Miami Marlins (+132) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (-156)| O/U 9 (-105/-115)
Arizona Diamondbacks righty Merrill Kelly has had three starts allowing four or more walks this season, a big reason he ranks in the 19th percentile in walk rate. However, given that the Miami Marlins are the least patient team at the plate in the majors with a 6.6% walk rate, we do not expect those issues to plague him much in this start.
The Marlins team total is 20-15-2 to the Under this season, including cashing in the first game of this series. Kelly will likely feel rejuvenated not having to face a division rival. Four of Kelly's seven starts have come against NL West teams, and he has allowed five earned runs in 19 innings (2.37 ERA) in the other three starts. Kelly is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three career starts against the Marlins, but he is still plagued by a 2019 start against them where he allowed seven earned runs in six innings. Since then, Kelly has allowed six earned runs in 11 1/3 innings to the Marlins, but since the Under has cashed in each of the previous five meetings between these teams, we expect that to result in another low-scoring output from Miami.
Pick: Marlins Team Total Under 4 (-120)

NBA Playoffs Best Bets
Miami Heat at New York Knicks
The Knicks took a deflating loss to the Miami Heat in Game 4. New York couldn't earn a win on the road and already have a loss at home earlier in the series.
The Knicks still shot at a higher percentage than the Heat in Game 4. However, Miami attempted nine more field goals, thanks to nine more rebounds and four fewer turnovers.
New York is one of the best offensive teams in the NBA, but the defense hasn't carried over much against the Heat. The rebounding has also been a bit of a shock for the Knicks. New York is typically one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA, but the Heat is bullying them around the paint.
New York used to get production off the bench, however, with Immanuel Quickley injured and out, the Knicks have lacked depth.
Meanwhile, Miami got 15 from Kyle Lowry off the bench and ten more from Caleb Martin. Jimmy Butler has had a terrific playoff performance so far, which likely won't change tonight.
The Knicks' season will likely conclude tonight.

NHL Playoffs Best Bets
Toronto Maple Leafs (-125) vs. Florida Panthers (+105) | O/U 6.5 (-130/+110)
The Maple Leafs got the 19-year-old monkey off their back when they finally advanced out of the first round for the first time since 2004. Well, you have to wonder if they'll consider that a successful season if they get swept out of the second round. The Panthers will attempt to put them away tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET from FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, FL.
It's confirmed that Joseph Woll will get the nod between the pipes as he steps in for the injured Ilya Samsonov. Woll entered game three early in the second period after Samsonov departed, and the 24-year-old gave up three goals on 21 shots faced. The pedestrian outing increased his playoff GAA to 3.85 and his SV% decreased to .846.
I can't pass up the red-hot Panthers with a plus-money payout on their home ice against a backup goaltender. Sure, the fourth win in a playoff series is always the toughest one to get, but c'mon now. Florida has proven that they're the real deal and they're plenty capable to get the job done in this spot. This team is scrappy, physical, and it simply looks like they want it more than the Maple Leafs. Not to mention, Sergei Bobrovsky is playing excellently, posting a .938 SV% in this series. Let's ride with Florida to advance tonight.
Bet: Florida Panthers Moneyline (+105)
