    Chicago Sky (+570) at Atlanta Dream (-900) | O/U 159 (-110/-110

The Sky (2-6) and the Dream (6-3) meet at the Gateway Center Arena at College Park on Friday night, as Angel Reese and Chicago look to beat somebody not named the Dallas Wings. The Sky are 2-0 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS) against the Wings, and 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS against everybody else.

Chicago is coming off a pair of embarrassing losses, too, falling 79-52 at home to the Indiana Fever last Saturday as a 3-point underdog, while getting belted 85-66 at New York on Tuesday night as a 16.5-point underdog. The Under cashed in each of those games, as the Sky is averaging just 59.0 points per game (PPG) on offense.

In the loss to the Liberty, Reese was surprisingly effective from the field, going 8-of-13, or 61.5% in field-goal percentage, which was the first time she was above 45.5% in a single game, and just the second time she has been better than 35.7%. She was 0-for-8 in a 99-74 loss to the Liberty on May 22, too, so that performance came out of left field for the Bayou Barbie. Reese also had 11 rebounds, which is obviously something she does extremely well. She had her first double-double since May 27 in Phoenix, a span of four games. She has nine or more rebounds in all eight games this season, averaging 12.1 rebounds per game (RPG).

The Dream pasted the Fever 77-58 last time out, covering as a 5.5-point favorite as the Under (161.5) cashed. It was the second-lowest total allowed this season, as Atlanta’s D really clamped down. The Dream have won five of the past six games, while going 5-1 ATS in the span, too.

At home, Atlanta is 3-1 SU/ATS, while winning and covering three in a row on its home floor. On the road, Chicago is 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS, while the Over has a 3-2 edge.

Let’s back the Dream to cover this number, as they’re playing very good basketball, while the Sky is an absolute mess. We’ll go with the Under, too, as the Sky just cannot put together any long stretches of cohesive offense, although the defense has been a lot better than earlier in the season when it allowed 91 or more points in five straight to open.

    Picks: Dream -12.5 (-110) & Under 159 Total Points (-110)

    Dallas Wings (+198) at Las Vegas Aces (-250) | O/U 170 (-110/-110

The Wings (1-10) and Aces (4-4) meet on The Strip at Mandalay Bay. Wave pool! OK, Paige Bueckers and the Wings are likely not going to hit the Bay’s wave pool, or the 1923 Prohibition Bar at Mandalay Bay, but they’re not likely to come away with a loss like many tourists on the slots.

A couple of things are going in favor of Dallas heading into this game. First off, Paige Bueckers is not only back from a four-game absence due to concussion, but she dropped a career-high 35 points against the Mercury in Wednesday’s 93-80 loss. The No. 1 pick overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft went 13-of-19 from the field, and she joined Arike Ogunbowale and Odyssey Sims as the only Dallas rookies to post 35+ points in a single game.

Kitija Laksa returned to the bench, however she was effective with four 3-pointers for the Wings, but it obviously wasn’t enough for Dallas.

Another thing going in favor of the Wings is that they won’t have to face Aces superstar A’ja Wilson is considered doubtful after leaving Wednesday’s game against the Sparks due to a head injury.

With Wilson checking out early, the Sparks were able to take advantage of the lack of resistance in the paint, as Rickea Jackson punished the Aces for 30 points on 11-of-17 shooting. That’s something to watch for Bueckers, who could enjoy the lack of Wilson most. Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray stepped up for Vegas, though, as Young had 34 points, and Gray was good for 28 points, more than picking up the slack with Wilson out.

If Wilson sits, which is expected, the Aces should still be able to cover the number. Dallas just doesn’t have the depth to take down Vegas, even without its big star. Back the Aces, and go high on the total. Dallas doesn’t play defense, it plays plenty of offense, though, and Vegas should be able to pile up plenty of points.

    Pick: Wings -6 (-112) & Over 170 Points (-110)
