WNBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (5/22)
Tonight's two-game WNBA slate features several of the best players in the league. Between the traditional betting lines for each game and player props, there are plenty of markets for gamblers to choose from. However, only a select few will make our WNBA best bets list.
I'll be using FanDuel Sportsbook for the odds for each of my WNBA best bets, but you should always line shop to make sure you are getting the best odds.

Thursday’s Best WNBA Picks
(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Indiana Fever (-4.5) vs. Atlanta Dream (+164) Picks
Since these teams just played a few days ago in a game that was won by a single point and went down to the wire, I can't recommend either team to win outright or against the spread (ATS). Chances are good this game is like the last one, which makes it impossible to call. However, Atlanta has scored 90+ points per game so far, but also allowed 90+ as well.
That much-improved defense that Fever fans thought they saw in the win over Chicago may not be all that much better, after all. Both teams are scoring 90+ and allowing 90+. Take the over.
Picks: Over 172 Points (-110)
Indiana Fever (-4.5) vs. Atlanta Dream (+164) Same-Game Parlay
- Caitlin Clark Over 22.5 Points (-114)
- Caitlin Cark Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (-148)
- Caitlin Clark Over 10.5 Assists (+112)
At 22.5 points, Caitlin Clark’s total may feel a little high for someone who shares the ball as much as she does. But Clark has been killing it from three-point range so far this season, hitting 4-of-8 versus Chicago and 5-of-11 versus Atlanta on Tuesday.
If you're thinking, "She has to come back down to Earth eventually," I'd say that is a valid point. But that will not happen against a Dream team that is allowing teams to shoot almost 50% from three-point range. If Clark hits the over on her three-point prop line, I love her chances of scoring over 22.5 points. As for her assists total, that one is a little harder to predict.
Clark has gone for 10 and 11 assists so far. I'm not crazy about the number, but the plus-money odds give this market value.
A $100 wager will result in a $437 payday - your stake plus $337 in winnings.
Parlay Odds: +337
New York Liberty (-12) vs. Chicago Sky (+490) Picks
An 11.5-point spread is massive, but from what we've seen of both teams, it may be small. New York has picked up where it left off; the Liberty are one of the better offensive and defensive teams in the WNBA. Chicago, on the other hand, struggled on both ends of the court in their season opener versus Indiana. If the Fever can crush the Sky by 35 points, New York can cover a 12-point spread against this Sky team.
Pick: Liberty -11.5 (-108)
New York Liberty (-11.5) vs. Chicago Sky (+490) Same-Game Parlay
I hate the price FanDuel Sportsbook has listed for Angel Reese to record 12+ rebounds, but I just don't like 13.5 over/under. Yes, she pulled down 17 boards against Indiana and went for over 13.5 in 14 games last season. However, she had 13.5+ rebounds in just one of four games against New York last season. Now, that's not to say she will not clear that number tonight, but for betting purposes, I like to have an easier number for her to reach (Reese recorded 12+ boards in 20 games last year).
Reese has had solid scoring nights in the past, but putting points on the board is typically not something she specializes in doing. She averaged 13.6 points per game last season, and scored under 13.5 in all four games against New York last season. She led the team with 12 points versus Indiana.
