    Los Angeles Sparks (-6) vs. Connecticut Sun (+210), O/U 169.5 (-110/-110)

As hard as it may be to believe with how they often looked in the first half of the season, the Sparks have a shot at making the playoffs. But, of course, to do so, they must at least win the few games that they should win, like tonight's contest.

Connecticut has the worst record (3-19), worst defense (88 points per game allowed), and worst offense (72.7 points per game). The only reason why anyone loses to them should be because they beat themselves. LA is not a great team, by any means. They are solid on the offensive end of the court (83.7 ppg, fourth in the league). However, they are not much better than the Sun on the defensive end (86.8 ppg allowed).

The Sparks went into the break having won three in a row and four of their last five. It's hard to win when you allow 80+ ppg, but when you score 90+, you can get away with it. I'd expect the Sparks to win this one, but it is hard to say whether they can cover; they only won by four the last time these teams played. In a game with the two worst defenses in the league, a lot of points should be scored.

Pick: Over 168.5 Total Points (-110)

    Las Vegas Aces (-2) vs. Indiana Fever (+114), O/U 164.5 (-115/-105)

Caitlin Clark has already been ruled out for the Fever, but rosters are expected to be otherwise largely intact. Still, the Fever crushed the Aces the last time these teams met without her in the lineup. However, A'ja Wilson appears to be getting back into MVP-caliber form. Playing without Clark is not ideal, but the Fever are capable.

While Indiana lost to the Liberty in New York by 14 their last time out, they were down by just two heading into the final quarter. At home, they are less likely to run out of gas like they did in that game.

Neither team is playing great basketball, but both are certainly capable of more. Both are putting up around 80+ points per game while also allowing 80+ points per game. That makes the Over look like a promising wager. However, I like the Fever at home in this one. They will not run out of gas at home.

A'ja Wilson will do what she does, but the Fever will shut down the rest of the roster.

    Pick: Indiana Moneyline (+114)

    Seattle Storm (-9.5) vs. Chicago Sky (+350), O/U 155.5 (-105/-115)

This game should be an easy win for Seattle. Key phrase: should be. But we don't know yet whether Skylar Diggins will be in the lineup. Without her, the offense was certainly lacking in their last game vs. a poor Dallas Wings defense. The team has said it 'hopes' to have her back, which makes it seem like the chances are 50-50.

However, they could be fine anyway. They'll still have plenty of talent on the court against a poor Chicago team that will be missing a very important piece to their puzzle, Ariel Atkins. She is the team's leading scorer with just 13.9 points per. Without her, it falls to Angel Reese to carry the offense.

Reese is a capable scoring threat, but not good enough to carry an offense.

With or without Diggins in the lineup for Seattle, this will likely be a low-scoring game. I'd expect Seattle to score in the high 70s/low 80s and for Chicago to top out in the mid-70s. Seattle will probably cover the spread if Diggins plays, but I wouldn't count on them to if she does not.

Pick: Under 156.5 Total Points (-115)
