Sunday's Best WNBA Bets

2026 Regular Season: 20-18-0 | Last: 1-1 | (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Las Vegas Aces (-1.5) vs. Golden State Valkyries (-105) | O/U 161.5 (-105/-115)

The Golden State Valkyries finished the regular season 32-12, good for 2nd place in the W. The Valkyries are winners of nine of their last 11 and 15 of their last 19. They have also won four straight and eight of their last nine at Chase Center.

The Las Vegas Aces finished their regular season 31-13, good for third place in the stacked Western Conference. They had an eight-game winning streak snapped in the first round, but have won nine of their last 10. They have also won three of four on the road and are 16-7 on the road this season, including the playoffs.

Las Vegas swept the season series, 3-0, winning by an average of 11.34 points. That being said, Golden State’s 19 home wins this season are easily tops in the W. The Valks are simply a tough out in Valhalla, although Vegas has won their before.

Vegas is arguably the hottest team in the W right now, and despite the strengths of Golden State at home, I think the huge Game 3 comeback against Dallas and the toll it took may be too much to overcome in Game 1.

Pick: Aces Moneyline (-115)

New York Liberty (+140) at Atlanta Dream (-4.5) | O/U 173.5 (-105/-115)

The New York Liberty finished the regular season 26-18, good for the 8th and final playoff spot. The Lib come in on the heels of an upset of the heavily-favored Minnesota Lynx. The Liberty are the first 8-seed to ever take down a 1-seed in WNBA history. The Liberty are winners of five of their last seven, eight of 12, and 12 of their last 17 games. They throttled the Lynx by 16 points in both games of the last round and finished 4-1 against the Lynx in 2026. They have also won four of their last five games away from Barclays Center dating back to August 15.

The Atlanta Dream finished 30-14 and paced the Eastern Conference. The Dream have won seven in a row and 11 of their last 12. They have also won four straight and nine of 12 at Gateway Center, as well as 19 of their last 23 overall.

The Dream took the season series 2-1, with the road team taking each contest. While both of Atlanta wins were in Brooklyn, they are also the two most recent contests this season, with both coming since September 21 and the most recent matchup coming on September 23.

The Liberty did win their road game against the Dream handily, 104-90, here in College Park, GA, but that was back on June 11. New York is 13-10 on the road this season, including the playoffs. Atlanta is 16-7 at home in 2026, including the playoffs. That is actually the exact same record they have on the road this season, so you get the same dominant Dream squad regardless of geography. For what it’s worth, New York has been underdogs in each game this postseason, offering as high as +220 in Game 1 and is 2-0 SU, so there is inherent value in the Liberty moneyline. Gotta zig when the field zags sometimes.

Pick: Liberty Moneyline (+140)
