Sunday's Best WNBA Bets

2025 Regular Season: 96-83-11 | 2025 Playoffs: 23-8 | (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Seattle Storm (-5.5) at Connecticut Sun (+195) | O/U 164.5 (-110/-110)

Seattle has won four of the last five games between these two teams. The Storm have also won two of three in Connecticut, including their last time there, 101-85, on July 28, 2025.

Seattle caught a solid Valkyries squad in their home opener and Flau'jae Johnson caught two fouls in the two positions, just five minutes into her career. The Storm should rely more on Johnson today and I expect her and the Storm to eat at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Connecticut got destroyed in this building on Friday, 106-75, by the New York Liberty. This was expected as the Liberty are a wagon and Connecticut is whatever the opposite of a wagon is. Things should get somewhat easier for the Sun in that they probably won't lose to the Storm by 31, but I expect the Storm to roll to victory either way.

    Pick: Storm Moneyline (-122)

    Las Vegas Aces (-2.5) at Los Angeles Sparks (+120) | O/U 175.5 (-112/-108)

The defending WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces got embarrassed following their ring ceremony on Friday. The Phoenix Mercury took in the whole ceremony and then made it their mission to rain on the parade. When the dust settled, the final score was 99-66, Mercury, and those rings felt even heavier.

Las Vegas has won four of five against the Sparks, including the last two in Los Angeles. Becky Harmon no doubt read her team the riot act after that drubbing. Maybe she didn't need to, as I'm sure A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young probably took their squad to task too.

I really don't see the World Champs dropping two straight to start the season. Take them at -122 to get right against their old friend, Kelsey Plum and her Sparks.

    Pick: Aces Moneyline (-142)
