The WNBA regular season comes to a close tonight with a busy five-game slate. Most playoff seeds are locked in, and several teams will likely rest players tonight. So, I'll focus on the more competitive matchups for today's best WNBA picks.

Toronto Tempo vs. Connecticut Sun
Neither team has been putting forth much effort since returning from the break. Both lost all three games by double digits. With both teams having injury-ravaged rosters, it is hard to say who fans will see take the court tonight.
Since the break, Connecticut has had the lowest-rated offense in the league (90.4); Toronto's offense has ranked 13th (99.2). The Tempo has had the worst-rated defense in that timeframe (126.4), while the Sun ranks 13th (117.9).
Based on what we've seen from each team since the break and who we'll likely see in action, there is no way to know or predict who will win tonight. However, it is doubtful we’ll see much offense (if any) from either team, making the under a solid bet.
Pick: Under 168.5 Points (-114)
Chicago Sky vs. Washington Mystics
Chicago has looked like it’s been waiting for the season to end since play resumed after the break. Washington, meanwhile, has been trying to lock down a better playoff seed and has one last chance tonight with a win and an Indiana loss.
The Fever will likely face Minnesota's second team and should easily win. But the Mystics will have a must-win mindset on the outside chance Indiana opts to rest players as well and concedes the No. 5 seed to Washington.
But as long as Washington puts forth an honest effort, the Mystics should blow an injury-depleted Chicago team out of the water tonight.
Pick: Mystics -13.5 (-105)
Indiana Fever vs. Minnesota Lynx
With the No. 1 seed locked down, there is no need for most of Minnesota’s starters to even step foot on the court tonight. Olivia Miles has been ruled out with an injury, but I'd be shocked to see Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride or Natasha Howard on the court for more than a few minutes (if at all).
Indiana, however, needs a win to lock down the No. 5 seed with Washington just a game back, playing Chicago, and owning the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Fever will likely put their best foot forward until the game or until (if) Washington loses. Against a Minnesota team already looking to the postseason, Indiana should not have any trouble covering a 3.5-point spread tonight.
