Friday’s Best WNBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Angel Reese Over 9.5 Rebounds (-135)

Until this total increases, we will continue to pounce. The Mystics may be coming off their first win, yet they are facing one of the better rebounding teams in the league. The Chicago forward is averaging a double-double over the last five games, including hauling in 11.2 rebounds. Over this span, Angel Reese did not accrue under 10 boards.
With Elizabeth Williams out for the season, Chicago will look to rely on their offensive rebounding savant to grab missed shot opportunities, considering the Sky shoot just over 41% as a team.
Washington certainly isn't a model of efficiency, either. They currently own a team field-goal percentage even lower than their opponent.

Kamilla Cardoso Over 6.5 Rebounds (-145)

The second selection of the 2024 WNBA Draft has benefited the most from Williams’s unfortunate injury. Over the last three contests, Kamilla Cardoso has seen her playing time ascend from 15 minutes to 21 and then 30 minutes in the last game.
If the Chicago forward is in a strong position to play 26 minutes or more going forward regularly, this rebound total will not last for many games. It's quite possible one more 30-minute/10-rebound performance could result in a line boost for the next contest.
Cardoso will have all the opportunity to grab rebounds tonight. As noted, this matchup features two of the lowest team field-goal percentages. The Mystics are also ranked in the top five of most defensive rebounds allowed, with 26.8

Napheesa Collier Over 20.5 Points (-120)

Napheesa Collier gets a rematch tonight with a Los Angeles team that gave up 25 points to the recently-named Olympian in their first meeting. Across the league, the Sparks allow the fifth-most points, the fifth-highest field-goal percentage and the fourth-most field goals.
The Minnesota forward owns a usage percentage of 27.7% on a team that scores the second-most points in the league. The Lynx’s high-scoring star has seen a slight dip in points over the last two games. This is mainly due to large deficits going into the fourth quarter, losing by 19 and 14. Another reason for the points dip is the next person on the list...

Kayla McBride Over 16.5 Points (-120)

Collier’s teammate has been otherworldly recently, scoring 25 points or more in four of the last eight games, including an average of 4.1 three-pointers. Kayla McBride faced Los Angeles earlier in the season yet only managed to score 13 points. This game was a 24-point massacre where she only saw 26 minutes of playing time.
This game obviously has a chance of repeating that outcome. However, with the Minnesota guard shooting so well and an opponent that allows 8.3 three-pointers per game at a 35% clip, this seems like a spot too good to pass up on. Over 64% of McBride's field-goal attempts are from three-point distance. Making this possibly one of the best spots to get in on for Friday.

Dearica Hamby Over 10.5 Rebounds (-125)

The blatant truth of the matter is that beyond the fantastic play of Dearica Hamby, there aren't many bright spots in the Sparks season. With only four wins in 12 games, this team could certainly use a tough victory on the road.
Minnesota is tied for allowing the most opponent rebounds at 36.7, with 10.0 offensive rebounds alone. The Los Angeles forward is averaging a career-high in rebound percentage, grabbing 27% of the missed shots for the team in each game.
Over the course of the season, Hamby averages 11.4 rebounds, with only four games where she did not grab at least 11 boards. A newly signed one-year extension may incentivize the top rebounder to be even more aggressive on the glass for the Sparks.
