Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Prop Picks
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Leonie Fiebich 10+ Points (+100)
Even though the odds on this selection have shortened a bunch since the last game, we still get a plus payout. No need to stop pursuing this total just yet. Leonie Fiebich led the Liberty in three-pointers made with five in the first game, so we certainly are in favor of the rookie scoring 10 points or more tonight.
During the playoffs, Fiebich has scored 10+ points in 4-of-7 games, including successfully hitting that total in the last three games. She is currently averaging 11.4 points, with 2.6 three-pointers on 58.3% shooting from deep.
The New York forward has played fewer than 25 minutes in only 1-of-7 games, which is a four-minute increase from the season average. Fiebich is averaging 9.3 attempts from the field over the last three games while connecting on 50%.
Sabrina Ionescu Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-138)
We were riding the most three-pointers made prop for a while. However, this total is extremely low given the recent play, as well as the volume of attempts for the sharp-shooting guard.
This is obviously much more juicer than we would prefer. It's simply just too difficult to pass on. Ionescu has failed to hit three or more baskets from deep in only one game in the entire playoffs.
Over the last two games, the New York guard has attempted 17 shots from beyond the arc and has connected on 47%. The Liberty will absolutely need their most prolific threat from three-point distance to even up the score at one game a piece.
Kayla McBride Over 13.5 Points (-110)
The veteran out of Notre Dame has been absolutely sizzling over the past two games, and we feel there's good reason for the scoring to continue in this contest as well.
McBride is averaging 20.5 points over the last two games on 52% shooting from the field, while knocking down seven three-pointers at a 45% clip. The Minnesota guard also attempted at least 11 shots in each of those contests.
In four matchups this season against New York, (three regular season, one playoff game) McBride is averaging 16 points on 45.7% shooting from the field while hitting 3.5 baskets from deep.
Alanna Smith 6+ Rebounds (-104)
After three rough rebounding performances against the Connecticut Sun, Alanna Smith was able to return to form against the Liberty in Game 1, where she pulled down nine rebounds, including a highly important offensive board that resulted in a game-tying three-pointer.
Smith has only met the required rebound total in 3-of-7 games in the playoffs. However, she has grabbed at least seven boards or more in the last two meetings against New York.
These Lynx and Liberty are arguably the top two defensive teams in the WNBA. Subsequently getting open or easy looks may prove difficult resulting in more rebounds of both the offensive and defensive variety.
The Minnesota forward has played at least 30 minutes in back-to-back contests, if that amount of playing is repeated tonight, there's a good chance Smith grabs six boards or more.
Courtney Williams Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)
Surprisingly enough, this number and total have not moved since the previous game where Williams went absolutely wild for the second game in a row, scoring 23 points, with five rebounds, and five assists.
The Minnesota guard is predominately a mid-range and attack-the-basket type of scorer. However, throughout the 2024 playoffs, Williams has made at least one three-pointer or more in 7-of-8 games, including five in the last two.
Over the last two contests, Williams is averaging 23.5 points, five rebounds, and six assists. This total is just way too low considering the recent play. We wouldn't fault you for once again taking a look at the Points + Assists combination as well.
Enjoy the games today, and good luck with your picks!
