WNBA Player Prop Bets & Parlay Picks: Thursday (5/29)

The 2025 WNBA season is upon us! Just like my World Champion New York Liberty, I am back and better than ever. I'll be here again breaking down the top player prop parlays all throughout the season.

Let’s get into the action for Thursday, May 29 with a nice SGP(x) play. Be sure to check with our WNBA Prop Bet Cheat Sheet when building your tickets.

Thursday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Parlay Picks

Season: 11-8 | Last: 1-2 | (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

    Dallas Wings (-2) at Chicago Sky (+122) | O/U 169.5 (-110/-110)

After a surprise benching in the third game of her career that still saw her hit a 20 PRA despite being sat nearly all of the 4th quarter and logging just 25 minutes, I wasn't sure if Paige Bueckers was toxic, but only from a betting standpoint. Not by any fault of her own, but by fault of minutes volatility on the part of rookie head coach Chris Koclanes. Bueckers bounced back with 21 point (first career 20-point game), seven rebound, and five assist performance totaling a 33 PRA in 35 minutes. That's good enough for me! Game on!

It's also more than enough to take her combo Over of just 26.5 against the Chicago Sky, the Washington Generals of the WNBA. First year head coach Tyler Marsh is running an olé-style defense that would make even Latricia Trammell blush, allowing a whopping 94.3 points per game, worst in the W. In fact, the closest team is allowing more than six points less. As the great Ricky LaFleur once said, this isn't rocket appliances, back Beuck to go over her combo number of 26.5.

On the home side of things, Angel Reese has produced double-doubles in three of four games (.750) this season. Reese has hit this prop in 29 of her 38 career WNBA games (.768) after her record setting 26 double-double rookie campaign that included a 14-4 (.778) record at Wintrust Arena. Even at -180, this pick has value as it carries an implied probability of roughly 64% but has an historical probability of almost 77% which would equate to somewhere in the -300s. Dallas' defense only looks good compared to Chicago's as they rank dead last in the Western Conference and 11th out of 13 in the W. There will be plenty of points and rebounds for the Bawlmer gal to notch her 30th career double-double tonight.

    WNBA Picks: Paige Bueckers 27+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118) & Angel Reese Double-Double (-180)

    Golden State Valkyries (+1120) at New York Liberty (-18) | O/U 162.5 (-112/-108)

Jonquel Jones has picked up 2025 right where she left off her successful 2024 campaign. The former WNBA MVP can do just about everything on the court, including being a long distance sniper which is where I love to live with her.

The George Washington University product is 4-0 against this number so far, draining 8-of-17 (.471) attempts with totals of one, three, two, and two, respectively. Last time out, against these same Valkyries, Jones went 2-for-5 from deep and nailed this prop in the first quarter with a 24-footer just 3:39 minutes into the game. Jones has hit this number in 34 of her last 44 (.773) regular season games and shot 38.8% from deep last year, topping her career average of 37.8%.

Jonquel Jones 1+ Three Pointers continues to be such a great high-strike parlay leg and as it hangs around the mid -300s it maintains non-juiced odds in the sense that the value is true as -350 is an implied probability of 77.8% which tracks with JJs hit rate over the last season-plus.

WNBA Pick: Jonquel Jones 1+ Three Pointers (-350)

    WNBA SGP(x) Odds: +263
