Friday's Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Brittney Griner Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)

Our first option appears to offer the best edge of any recommendation this evening. Brittney Griner started out the gate strong, averaging 15 points, 5.6 boards and three assists through the first three games. Since then, the wheels have come off somewhat, which gives us a tremendous betting opportunity on the under.

Griner has not reached a combined 19+ points + rebounds + assists in two consecutive contests. The Sun center is averaging eight points, three rebounds and two assists per game over that span.

Diving deeper into Griner's first three games of the season, two of the performances were against teams that had little to no size in the front court. That will not be the case tonight against Chicago. The Sky rank sixth in the league, averaging 34 rebounds per game.

Griner has failed to score in double digits in two straight games. She is not dominant on the boards, despite being 6-foot-9. The veteran has had many successful nights on the court over a remarkable 12 seasons. We simply do not see tonight being one of them.

Natasha Cloud Under 18.5+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)

This selection is a bit of an odd one. Natasha Cloud has been anything but consistent over the last few games, and this line comes across extremely high for a player who has only had three productive performances on the season.

Cloud is averaging just 0.8 three-pointers per game and is shooting 25% from beyond the arc. She is averaging eight points, 3.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds over the previous four games. The veteran guard is shooting a dreadful 33% from the field over that span.

Cloud failed to accumulate a combined 19+ points + rebounds + assists in three out of the previous four games. The Sky guard fouled out in 24 minutes on Tuesday and didn't score a single point.

We understand the Connecticut Sun is an extremely advantageous matchup for any player this season. Having said that, the Sky are 7-point favorites. This could limit Cloud’s playing time. Given the poor shooting and an inferior opponent, our money is on Cloud to fall short on this combo prop tonight.

Paige Bueckers 2+ Made Three-Pointers (-116)

Paige Bueckers is in the midst of a small shooting slump from beyond the arc going into this contest. The second-year superstar failed to hit at least two three-pointers in the previous contest for the Wings. Bueckers has made three out of her last 11 attempts from above the perimeter. We say all this to state that we emphatically favor Bueckers making at least two three-pointers today.

Bueckers has amassed two or more three-pointers in five out of nine games this season. The Wings guard is averaging 1.9 three-point baskets on 4.4 attempts from deep. Los Angeles leads the WNBA in most points allowed per game (91.8). Bueckers is absolutely going to have every opportunity to score against the Sparks.

The Wings guard gets a very gracious opponent and is coming off a 1-of-5 performance from three-point distance. We feel this is the perfect scenario for Bueckers to bounce back and sink at least two baskets from above the three-point line.

Dearica Hamby Under 15.5 Points (-109)

Kelsey Plum is ready to suit up this evening after missing three games with a sprained ankle. The absence of Plum opened the door for her teammates to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, that was not the case for Dearica Hamby.

Hamby hasn't played well at all since Plum was sidelined two weeks ago. In the three games Plum was out of action, Hamby averaged nine points on a horrific 27.8% shooting from the field.

However, Hamby has finished with 16+ points in five out of six games with Plum. When the sharp-shooting guard is in the lineup, Hamby is averaging 18.5 points on 61.4% shooting from the field.

With the leading scorer for the Sparks back on the court, Hamby could certainly see more looks at the rim this evening. She went 0-of-7 from the field in the last game for Los Angeles and has not reached 16 points in three straight games. Yet, oddsmakers still set the line as if Hamby is rolling right now. We would get to the window early, before the line changes either way.

Jovana Nogic 12+ Points (-125)

Jovana Nogic kicked off the season averaging 14.7 points and 25 minutes per game. Since then, her playing time and scoring have declined significantly.

The Mercury will more than likely be without veteran guard Kahleah Copper, who is currently listed as doubtful due to a left hip injury. If Cooper is unavailable this evening, Nogic is sure to be on the floor for a longer duration than in recent contests.

Playing time equals the possibility of production, and that's always going to be a good starting point when placing bets. Nogic is shooting 50% on 4.9 three-point attempts per game on the season, and she is shooting 43.7% from the field. The Mercury guard is tied for sixth in three-pointers made per game - on 21 minutes per game, mind you.

Nogic is averaging 11.2 points on 51.4% shooting from the field in 17 minutes when playing on the road. She owns a 65.4% true shooting rate and a 58.7% effective field-goal rate. If given the extra playing time, Nogic is in a phenomenal spot to score at least 12 points.

Enjoy the games this evening. Good luck with your picks.
