In the first game, the 5-2 Atlanta Dream take on the 1-6 Connecticut Sun. How will Rhyne Howard and Olivia Nelson-Ododa perform in the second meeting between these two teams this season? And in the second game, will Kelsey Plum record at least six assists when her Los Angeles Sparks battle the Dallas Wings?

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Rhyne Howard Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+140)

Rhyne Howard has made four three-pointers in back-to-back games. She's now made at least three three-pointers in five of her seven games this season, and in three of those five games, she's made four. Tonight, she faces the Sun, a team that is allowing opponents to make the second-highest percentage of three-pointers in the league this season.

Howard has already faced the Sun once this season, and she did not shoot well. She went just 1-of-10 from beyond the arc, her worst shooting performance of the season so far. While that performance is alarming, it's also led to the price for this over being very favorable.

At the end of the day, Howard puts up a lot of three-pointers, with at least 10 attempts in all but two of her games this season. Considering she's shot at least 30.8% from deep in four of her seven games, against a bad three-point defense, I expect her to rebound from one bad performance and extend her streak of at least four three-pointers to three games.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa Under 5.5 Rebounds (+120)

Olivia Nelson-Ododa leads the Sun with 6.4 rebounds per game. However, she's pulled down five or fewer rebounds in four of her seven games this season. Two great rebounding performances are seriously helping her season average. In one game, she grabbed 10 boards against the Minnesota Lynx, and in another, she grabbed nine against the Indiana Fever.

Tonight, she faces the Dream for the second time this season, and if her first game was any indication of how she will perform tonight, things aren't looking good for her. She grabbed just five rebounds in the first meeting. The Dream are allowing the third-fewest rebounds per game this season, so I don't expect to see Nelson-Ododa grab more than five rebounds tonight, something she's done in fewer than half her games this year.

Kelsey Plum Over 5.5 Assists (+114)

Though Kelsey Plum has dished out three or fewer assists in back-to-back games, she still leads the Sparks with 4.8 assists per game. She has recorded at least six assists in three of her eight games, and at least five in five contests this season. Considering she's notched at least five assists in more than half of her games this season, it's a little surprising to see this price where it is, considering she's about to face the team allowing the most assists in the league.

The Wings are allowing 24 assists per game, two more per game than the Chicago Sky, who are allowing the second-most per game this season. Plum has yet to face the Wings, so we don't know exactly what to expect from her tonight. But it seems as though oddsmakers are looking a little too closely at what she has done in her last two games, rather than taking into account just how bad the Wings have been at allowing assists. For this price, I'll back Plum to go slightly over her season average.
