WNBA Player Props & Bets: Monday (5/25)

With the WNBA in full swing, this is one of the most underrated times in the sports calendar. I'll be here every Monday to provide the best WNBA player props. The WNBA is one of the best leagues to make money on, and that's exactly what I'm here to do.

We are still early in the season, so teams are finding their identity, but being ahead of the curve on market adjustments is an easy way to make money, and that's exactly the plan tonight. Here are the best WNBA player props for today's slate.

Monday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

Last time: 1-1 | Season: 1-1 | 2025 Season: 18-16

Breanna Stewart Over 24.5 Points + Assists (-109 at Caesars Sportsbook)

Neither game tonight is really going to be close, but if I had to guess, the one that could be close would be Portland-New York. The Fire travels across the country tonight, but the Liberty is playing in the second leg of a back-to-back.

My biggest lean here is Sabrina Ionescu going under her points total just because she should be on a minutes restriction and didn't look great in her first game back. I support that bet, but it feels like that concept is already baked into the lines. What doesn't feel impacted is the ripple effect that her potentially limited playing will have.

That's why Breanna Stewart's over on her combo points + assists prop is one of my top bets tonight. Stewart is due for positive regression after her start to the year, and I fully believe in her ability to knock down shots after her last two games. Portland’s defense is abysmal, ranking as the second-worst unit in the league.

Stewart might reach this combo prop on scoring alone, but if not, there are plenty of avenues to success.

Brittney Griner Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-118 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

On the second game of the slate, Connecticut sits as 13.5-point underdogs as they travel west to take on the Golden State Valkyries. I don't want to bury the lede here in that Brittney Griner is coming off an injury, so she is questionable for this game.

Griner should be back tonight, but if not, my alt bet is Janelle Salaun over 10.5 points.

Golden State is too much of a beast to let Griner continue performing as she has this season, especially if she's not at 100%, which is most likely. The Valkyries’ defense has been awesome so far, especially at home, even in their limited appearances. Griner won't get second-chance looks and will struggle in the paint. This is an easy bet.
