Saturday’s Best WNBA Player Props

Marina Mabrey Over 3.5 Rebounds (-152)

The WNBA action gets underway early Saturday afternoon with a matchup between the Storm and the Tempo. This is the second meeting between these two teams, with the first game resulting in a lopsided Toronto win. It was an intriguing contest because both teams shot the ball fairly well in a slow-paced game.

Both Toronto and Seattle shot above their season averages in field-goal rate, yet both sit in the bottom half of the league, with Seattle the worst. You can expect a regression to the mean here, which means we should see more rebounds, particularly on Toronto's side.

Seattle is one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. They're in the bottom three in defensive rebounding rate and dead last in offensive rebounding rate. Throw in the fact that they have one of the best shooting defenses by effective field-goal rate (eFG%) and one of the worst shooting offenses by eFG%, and you have a recipe for overs when it comes to Toronto rebounds.

This is a good matchup for Marina Mabrey, who has gone over this number in five out of eight games and averages four rebounds per game. In the previous matchup between these teams two weeks ago, she snagged four of the Tempo's 33 rebounds. Mabrey is a good bet to go over again.

Caitlin Clark Over 8.5 Assists (-140)

Fresh off becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 500 career assists, Caitlin Clark and the Fever will take on the Portland Fire in a primetime matchup.

Clark is also coming off easily her worst offensive performance of the season in that game against the Valkyries. She tallied a season-low 16 points and a season-low six assists. Clark will look to bounce back after back-to-back games against perhaps the league's best defense.

Portland ranks closer to the bottom of the league in defensive rating and allows the highest percentage of two-pointers that are assisted. The Fever are one of the best teams in the league at assisting on their two-point attempts and also shoot one of the highest percentages on layups. These are great opportunities for Clark to dish it to her teammates.

Clark is an elite passer in the WNBA and has been tallying assists at a record pace in her young career. Averaging 8.5 assists per game and playing a team like Portland that allows a lot of assists, Clark is a strong bet to go over again on this number.
