Saturday’s Best WNBA Player Props
Caitlin Clark Over 8.5 Assists (-146 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
After an injury-marred season with Indiana, Caitlin Clark is poised to return to WNBA action on Saturday. With that return, she'll look to make a big splash. Against this Dallas Wings defense, which was one of the worst in the league last year, she could very well do that on the offensive end.
Last year, Dallas gave up the most assists per 100 possessions. They also played at one of the fastest paces in the league and had one of the worst shooting rates. The Fever should get plenty of opportunities to break out in transition, which could lead to plenty of assist opportunities for Clark.
Clark eclipsed this number in nine of her 13 games last season. This included a game against the Wings in which she recorded a season-high 13 assists. With her first taste of regular-season action, she'll look to get her teammates involved and push the pace against Dallas.
Alyssa Thomas Over 8.5 Rebounds (-125 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Mercury and Aces will square off in a rematch of the 2025 WNBA Finals. It was a series that the Aces won 3-1, but there were some bright spots for Phoenix during the series. One of those was Alyssa Thomas, who routinely went over on her points, assists and rebounds props in the four games.
I'll be targeting another Thomas prop on Saturday when they meet up again. She averaged 10 rebounds per game during the WNBA Finals, eclipsing this number easily in three of the four games. Las Vegas struggled on the offensive glass in 2025, so Thomas will have plenty of opportunities to collect rebounds against an average Aces shooting team.
Expect fireworks in this matchup of the two best teams in the WNBA last season. We should see plenty of possessions as Phoenix likes to push the pace, and the Aces were above average on pace last year. With more possessions, there will be more opportunities for rebounds, and Thomas will be poised to grab them.
Angel Reese Under 12.5 Rebounds (-135 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
One of the biggest storylines of the WNBA offseason was the Chicago Sky trading their star forward to the Atlanta Dream. The change of scenery gives Angel Reese an opportunity to play for a winning team, with its benefits and drawbacks. The biggest drawback is that she'll be playing with a more talented team where she won't be relied on as heavily.
Last season, Reese averaged 12.6 rebounds per game, but this year she'll be sharing a frontcourt with Naz Hillmon, who is known to attack the glass herself. At this number, Reese is being assumed to have the same role and need to be the same do-it-all rebounder. That won't be the case in Atlanta.
Last year in four matchups with the Lynx, Reese eclipsed this number just once. By taking the over on Reese's rebounding numbers, you're putting a lot of faith into the role and the matchup. I'll take the early-season gift and bet the under on Reese's rebounding prop.
