Jewell Loyd Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-150)
The biggest game of the day gets the WNBA action kicked off on Saturday. The Lynx and the Aces square off in a possible Finals preview. There will be plenty of betting intrigue in this game and one bet I'll be placing is an Over on Jewel Loyd's made three-pointers.
Loyd has made two or more from deep in seven of her last 10 games as well as in her only matchup against the Lynx this season. A big reason for this is that she's attempted four or more 3PA in eight of those 10 games. Although she's been a tick under her career numbers, she is a 35.1% 3P% shooter.
I expect Loyd to get plenty of attempts against this Minnesota defense. For all the strengths of the Lynx defense, they do allow the highest percentage of 3PA per FGA in the league. A big reason for this is an elite 2P defense, but the Aces are one of the teams that can exploit that as a top three 3P% team.
This will be one of the most exciting games of the WNBA season. Both the Lynx and Aces will be looking to make a statement and Jewel Loyd is poised for a strong performance. I'll be backing her to go over on her 3PM prop against a defense that is prone to giving up 3PA.
Aliyah Boston Over 9.5 Rebounds (+108)
The Fever will look to get back into the win column with a matchup against the Chicago Sky on Saturday. Indiana is coming off of back-to-back games against Minnesota and Las Vegas so the two single digit losses are far from a cause for concern. They should have a lot of success against Chicago and one player who is poised for a big game is Aliyah Boston.
The Sky are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. They sit in the bottom five of the league in both OReb and DReb rate and their opponents are averaging a league best 37.3 rebounds per game. Boston should feast on this frontcourt.
In one matchup with Chicago this season Boston put up 12 rebounds. We're getting some value on this prop because Bostons has only surpassed 10 rebounds in eight games this season. I will be backing Boston to have another explosion on the boards against Chicago and go over her rebound prop with plus pricing.
