Golden State Valkyries at Connecticut Sun
It looks like Salaun may be the player who could benefit most from Kayla Thornton's unfortunate season-ending injury. She got the start last time out vs. Dallas and played 34 minutes, her second-highest total of the season and highest since returning from an injury. In that game, she scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Against one of the worst defenses in the league and getting 30+ minutes, she'll easily surpass 13.5 points.
Pick: Janelle Salaun Over 13.5 Points (+100)
Indiana Fever at Chicago Sky
If Reese plays, she will be the one player the Fever will make sure does not beat them. While she often does not show up on the scoreboard, her potential to do so is certainly there. As always, she is definitely a threat to pull down double-digit rebounds.
In the season opener, she combined for 30 points, rebounds, and assists. But in the second matchup, she had just 18. She has gone over this total in four of six games this month. However, with Ariel Atkins out, the defensive pressure will likely ramp up on her, limiting her chances to rack up stats.
As for whether she'll record a double-double, she has done so in ten consecutive games and in 16 of the 22 games she has played in.
Picks: Angel Reese Under 29.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-110) & Angel Reese To Record a Double-Double (-210)
Las Vegas Aces at Dallas Wings
No odds were posted for player props in this game as late last night, but Wilson torched the Wings back on July 16 with 37 points and ten rebounds. Bueckers has been ruled out for the Wings, which should make an already weak defense a little bit worse. If the total is comparable to her season average of 22.0 points per game, absolutely take the Over for this one.
Pick: A'ja Wilson Over 23.5 Points (-104)
Phoenix Mercury at Washington Mystics
Citron is a solid young player, but it is hard to rely on her statistical production sometimes. For example, she has recorded double-digit points in three of seven games this month. Her rebound total ranged from 1 to 10, and she had zero assists in three of seven games. She's gone over this total in three of seven games this month, but finished with 14/4/1 (19) in the previous matchup.
Pick: Sonia Citron Under 19.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-106)
