Tuesday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Jewell Loyd 3+ Three-Pointers Made (+194)

Jewell Loyd couldn't get anything going in her first game of the season. Despite playing 31 minutes, she scored just five points, shooting 1-of-6 from three-point range. However, there is value in taking Loyd to bounce back in a big way tonight.

First, there is the price for this prop. Getting this at nearly 2-to-1 odds provides immense value, especially when you consider that the price for her to make at least two threes is -166. Then there is her opponent. Last season, Loyd faced the Sun three times. In each of her last two meetings, she knocked down three three-pointers. This is extra impressive when you consider the Sun allowed the fewest three-pointers in the league last season.

Maybe Loyd is going to suffer some early-season struggles, but this is a low-risk, high-reward wager that is worth a play.

Brittney Griner Under 7.5 Rebounds (-110)

Brittney Griner pulled down eight rebounds in her first game of the season, but that's hardly the norm for her at this point in her career. Last season, she averaged just 6.6 rebounds per game. In 2023, she averaged 6.3 per game.

Last season, Griner battled the Fever three times, never pulling down more than six rebounds in any of those games. Even though the Fever isn’t a good matchup for her, at the end of the day, it's her teammates who may hurt her most.

Brionna Jones grabbed 10 rebounds in the first game of the season, while Allisha Gray grabbed eight. With those two players likely to be on the floor more than Griner, expect her to struggle to hit this number in what has been a tough matchup for her.

Caitlin Clark Under 20.5 Points (+100)

Caitlin Clark began the season with a triple-double, as she led her Fever to a 93-58 win over the Chicago Sky. In that contest, Clark scored 20 points despite only playing 32 minutes. Last season, Clark averaged 35.4 minutes per game, so it's safe to assume she will get more playing time in a closer game tonight.

That said, the Dream gave Clark a hard time last season. In four games against them, Clark scored more than 20 just once, and that performance came in an overtime game that saw her play 45 minutes. Despite playing at least 35 minutes in all three of her other games against the Dream, Clark scored just 19, 16 and seven points, as they proved to be one of the worst matchups for her.

Clark is more experienced now, which may benefit her, but I think oddsmakers are laying a trap for bettors who are excited that Clark is back on the floor.
