Caitlin Clark Over 21.5 Points (+100)
Caitlin Clark was outstanding against the New York Liberty on Saturday, making 55% of her field goals on her way to a 32-point performance. It was her best shooting performance of the season, even though she was playing her first game in three weeks. Will Clark build off that performance tonight?
Considering her opponent, I don't see why she wouldn't. The Fever are taking on the Sun, the team allowing the second-most points in the league. Clark only has two games with more than 21.5 points this season, but she is averaging 21.6 points per game and has only scored fewer than 18 points once.
Four of Clark's five games have been against the top two teams in the league. Her other game was against the Chicago Sky. While she scored just 20 in that game, her team won by 35, and she recorded a triple-double. Look for Clark to have a huge game tonight against a bad defense.
Jonquel Jones Over 10.5 Rebounds (+116)
Jonquel Jones hasn't played since June 5th, but she is expected to take the court tonight. In her last game, she played only six minutes before injuring her ankle. She still managed to pull down four rebounds in that short amount of time. Jones has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in five of her other six games, and she's topped 10 boards in three of her seven games this season.
The Dream are allowing the fewest rebounds per game, which is definitely why the price for this over is so favorable. But Jones has been an excellent rebounder all season, and these two teams rank first and second in points allowed per game. In what is likely to be a low-scoring slugfest, I expect both teams to miss more shots than usual, giving Jones plenty of opportunities to continue to excel on the glass.
Sonia Citron 2+ Made Three-Pointers (+136)
Sonia Citron has failed to make a single three-pointer in back-to-back games, as she is 0-of-6 from deep during that span. That said, she's still averaging 1.4 made three-pointers per game thanks to her hot start to the season. In May, Citron made at least two threes in five of her seven contests. In the most recent game before her current struggles, she went 2-of-4 from deep against the Liberty.
Tonight, Citron faces the worst three-point shooting defense in the WNBA. The Sky are allowing opponents to make 38.7% of their threes, and they're allowing 10.6 makes per game. Citron hasn't faced the Sky this season, but if there were ever a team to break out of a slump against, this is the one.
