WNBA Player Props & Bets: Tuesday (7/29)
There are three WNBA games tonight, and I'm looking at one player prop for each contest. How will Allisha Gray perform when her Atlanta Dream takes on the Golden State Valkyries? Can Angel Reese continue to dominate the Washington Mystics? What should we expect from Jackie Young when her Las Vegas Aces battle the Los Angeles Sparks for the third time this season?
Here are the best WNBA player props and bets for Tuesday, July 29th.

Allisha Gray Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+110) WNBA Player Props
On Sunday, Allisha Gray went 0-for-4 from beyond the arc. It was the first time she failed to make a three-pointer in a game since June 13th. Before that performance, she made at least three three-pointers in back-to-back games, and for the season, she's averaging 2.4 makes per contest.
Tonight, she faces a team she went 3-for-7 against from three-point range earlier this season. The Valkyries rank seventh in opponent three-point percentage, putting them squarely in the middle of the league. But when it comes to three-pointers made, they're allowing the second-most per contest. Considering the Dream average 28.1 three-point attempts per game, which is fourth in the league, it's safe to assume their game plan will be to take advantage of the Valkyries' weak three-point defense. That bodes very well for Gray.
Angel Reese Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds (-130) WNBA Player Props
Although Angel Reese only scored 11 points in her last game, she's been much more effective from the field since the middle of June. She has scored at least 15 points in eight of her last nine games, which is significant considering her season average is just 13.8 points per game. During that nine-game stretch, Reese has topped 20 points three times, including once against the same Mystics squad she faces tonight.
Reese has scored at least 17 points in both games against the Mystics, and though her total is set at just 14.5 tonight, the price is pretty steep for the over. Therefore, I recommend playing the over for this combo prop. Reese is averaging 12.5 rebounds per game and has pulled down at least 10 boards in 10 consecutive games. She has at least 15 rebounds in six games during that stretch, so even if she only scores 13 or 14 points tonight, she should do enough on the glass to push her over. Based on how she's played against the Mystics, she should score enough to hit the over easily.
Jackie Young Under 15.5 Points (-113) WNBA Player Props
I'm taking a bit of a chance with my third prop, but the total is so strange that I can't help but think oddsmakers have laid a trap. Jackie Young is averaging 16.9 points per game this season. She's been excellent against the Sparks, scoring 34 in her last game against them and 26 in her first meeting against the team. And yet, for some reason, oddsmakers have this total set at 15.5.
One major reason is likely how Young has played of late. She scored 24 in her last game, but she had scored 15 or fewer in eight of her 11 games before that performance. Granted, the Sparks are allowing the second-most points per game this season, but I'd look for that to benefit A'ja Wilson more than the suddenly inconsistent Young.
