Tuesday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Courtney Williams Over 5.5 Assists (-106)

Courtney Williams has consistently found her teammates all season long. She is averaging six assists per game this season, and she has at least seven assists in back-to-back games. She played 10 games in June, and she recorded at least five assists in eight of those contests. Of course, five assists would put her under her prop line total for tonight, but her consistency throughout the month gives me confidence in her floor against the Fever tonight.

The Fever are allowing the fewest assists per game this season, but they're allowing the sixth-most points per contest. This means there will be plenty of opportunities for Williams to get her teammates involved. She's the clear leader when it comes to assists, as no one else on the team is averaging more than 3.7 per game. While the Fever allows the fewest assists per game, the Lynx are the top assisting team in the league. In a battle of strengths, I'll take Williams to hit her average.

Kayla McBride Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+130)

Kayla McBride is averaging 2.8 made three-pointers per game, but she has her work cut out for her tonight. The Fever are giving up the lowest three-point percentage to opponents per game this season, and they're allowing just 6.1 makes from beyond the arc. That's the second-fewest in the league. Yet, I'm still backing her to hit this over.

McBride has made zero three-pointers in three of her last six games, which is alarming. However, on Sunday, she went 5-of-9 from deep. McBride attempts so many shots from deep that she always has a chance to hit her over, no matter who her opponent is. She's averaging 6.9 attempts per game, and in six Commissioner's Cup games, she's attempted at least seven threes three times. She has knocked down at least five three-pointers in four of her 12 games this season, and she's made multiple in nine of her 12 contests. The Fever are tough defensively, but McBride is a sharpshooter. For this price, you have to back her.

Natasha Howard Over 5.5 Rebounds (-110)

Natasha Howard ranks second on the team in rebounds per game, averaging 6.5 per contest. She's coming off a massive 13-rebound performance against the Dallas Wings on Friday, her best performance of the season on the glass. Howard has now pulled down at least six rebounds in eight of her 16 games this season.

The biggest concern with Howard is that she has been boom-or-bust of late. In her last six games, she's grabbed at least 12 rebounds twice, but in the other four games, she's pulled down five or fewer rebounds. While this is worrisome, the Lynx are a very middle-of-the-pack team when it comes to rebounding, so Howard won't be outmatched in this game. With the total set below her season average, it's worth taking a shot on her over.
