Saturday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Angel Reese Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)

Angel Reese has been the best player on the court in all three games this series. She posted point and rebound lines of 14/12, 30/16 and 21/12. Whether Atlanta is winning this series or not, she is dominating. This play from Reese didn't just pop up in the WNBA Finals. She caught fire in the New York series, averaging over 20 points and nearly eight rebounds per game. In a key matchup on Saturday, we can expect her to keep the hot streak going.

Right off the bat, you can rely on her to get the rebounds she needs. Reese has been a board machine against the Valkyries all year. She led the league in rebounding with 12.1 rebounds per game during the regular season. In six matchups, she's averaged 12.8 rebounds against the Valkyries, despite Golden State being one of the league’s best rebounding teams.

On the scoring front, Reese has been up and down, but she's clearly found her groove in this series. She's shot 56.4% from the field in the series, and though her volume is low, she made three of four three-point attempts. But what has really helped is that she's averaging six free throws per game.

We're watching a star player on a heater in the biggest spot. Until Reese shows that she's cooled off, I'm going to keep playing the over on this combo prop.

    Rhyne Howard Under 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-156)

The line here feels a bit odd. Although she can be a volume shooter in some matchups, Rhyne Howard has made more than two threes in a game just once since September 21st. Howard has fallen off significantly from deep. In her last 13 games, she's averaging only 1.8 made three-pointers per game and is shooting just 26.4% from deep.

This is also a terrible matchup for any three-point shooter. Golden State allows the league’s lowest three-point rate (32.6%). Howard, in both her career and this season, isn't much better than those numbers, so it’s unlikely she’ll catch fire against this defense.

Overall, this number is just too high. You're paying a lot of juice to take the under, but it's a really good bet. This is also a great leg to add to any parlay. However you want to play it, this is one of the best prop bets of the day.
