WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (7/22)
The final day of WNBA games before the All-Star Game is here, and I've found three WNBA player props I love for the entire slate.
First, I highlight why Caitlin Clark is being overvalued in what looks like an easier match on paper than it really is. Then, I explain why you shouldn't be fading Kayla McBride before discussing Jonquel Jones in a great matchup.

Caitlin Clark Under 7.5 Assists (+100)
Caitlin Clark is averaging 7.8 assists per game, and she's about to face the 7-19 Sun. But setting the price for over 7.5 at greater than -125 really ignores everything that makes the Sun a bad basketball team.
While they're averaging the fewest points per game, their defense has actually been solid this season, allowing the fifth-fewest points in the league. They're also allowing the fourth-fewest assists.
Clark enters this game with seven or fewer assists in four of her last five games. When she faced the Sun earlier this season, she played 36 minutes but managed only five assists. Clark's average is being pulled up by five double-digit assist games. She's recorded seven or fewer assists in 11 of her 22 games.
I wouldn't be surprised if this total ends up at 8.5 before tip-off. While the price for that under would be high, I'd be more than happy to pay extra in a surprisingly difficult matchup.
Kayla McBride Over 19.5 Points (-108)
I understand that Kayla McBride is averaging just 18.1 points per game, but this line feels egregiously low. McBride is one of the hottest players in the league right now, scoring at least 23 points in seven consecutive games. Tonight, she faces the same Storm team she scored 33 points against on Monday.
In Monday's performance, McBride went 9-of-16 from the floor and 6-of-10 from beyond the three-point line. If this feels flukey, it's not. She's shot 47.1% or better in each of her last seven contests, reaching at least 50% six times during that span.
The Lynx are an excellent offensive team, with both Olivia Miles and Natasha Howard posing a serious threat to McBride's production. But for all of July, McBride has been the most consistent player. I'm not going to fade her now, especially when she dominated the Storm two days ago.
Jonquel Jones Over 9.5 Rebounds (+118)
Jonquel Jones leads the Liberty with 9.2 rebounds per game, and she has been incredible on the glass of late. She has at least 10 rebounds in five of her last six games, averaging nearly 11 rebounds per game in July.
While Jones only grabbed eight rebounds the first time she faced the Sky, Chicago allows the most rebounds in the league at a clip of 37.5 per game. That number is 1.9 more per game than any other team.
Additionally, the price for this over is excellent. Because Jones didn't perform well against the Sky the first time, it seems the public is reluctant to back her here, even though oddsmakers are presenting bettors with a gift.
