Wednesday’s Best WNBA Player Props, Bets & Picks
Satou Sabally Under 26.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-110 bet365)
Satou Sabally hasn’t played in three weeks and returns tonight against a tough Atlanta defense. Before her injury absence, she had only crossed this mark in one of her last five games. I like to take the “under” on players returning from injury, just to give them a one-game grace period from achieving their regular heights. Sabally is an outstanding player, but the Dream is on the second night of a back-to-back, and the Mercury may limit her minutes if the game gets out of hand.
Alyssa Thomas Over 9.5 Assists (+110 DraftKings)
The Dream are a solid defensive team, but they rank in the middle in assists allowed. Thomas has crossed this mark in 8 of 15 games she’s played this year, including 4 of her last 7, coming up short against Minnesota twice in that span. But the Lynx are No. 1 in opponent assists allowed. Thomas has looked back to her normal triple-double self of late, and with the return of Sabally and Kahleah Copper, her assists should see a bump to hit this plus-money mark.
Jordin Canada Under 19.5 Points + Assists (-110 BetMGM)
Atlanta played Las Vegas last night and now immediately has to turn around and face a Mercury team that is back to full strength coming out of the All-Star Break. Aside from erupting against the Fever 12 days ago, Canada has only crossed this mark four other times this season. Phoenix is a good defensive team, and I think Atlanta will struggle to score, making this a good under bet tonight.
