WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (8/12)
There are three WNBA games tonight, and I'm highlighting what I believe is the best play for each contest. First, I discuss why Azzi Fudd is being undervalued against the Tempo. Then, I explain why Natasha Cloud is destined to rebound from a poor performance in her last game. And finally, I highlight why Natasha Howard is set to put her recent inconsistencies behind her against the Fire. Here are the best WNBA player props for Wednesday, August 12th.

Azzi Fudd 3+ Made Three-Pointers (+164)
Azzi Fudd has missed the Wings' last two games, which is the only reason that the price for this prop is as good as it is. She is averaging 2.1 made three-pointers per game, so it's no surprise that her making at least two three-pointers tonight is priced at -205.
Fudd has been excellent against the Tempo in both of her games this season. In the first meeting, she went 5-of-11 from deep, while in the second, she was 3-of-7 from long range. I expect a similar performance tonight, as the Tempo are allowing more than 10 made three-pointers per game.
While I'd add over 1.5 made three-pointers to a parlay, I don't believe there is a lot of value in taking that prop for such a high price. At the end of the day, either Fudd's injury is going to bother her, and she's going to really struggle, or it won’t, and she's going to light up the Tempo just like she has done in both previous meetings this season. That's why it's much less risky to take her to make three three-pointers for the great price of +164.
Natasha Cloud Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+164)
Natasha Cloud isn't the best three-point shooter on the Sky, but she may be the best shooter Chicago can put on the floor tonight. The Sky are injury-riddled, and though Cloud is averaging just 1.1 made three-pointers per game, I expect her to attempt enough threes tonight for her to hit this over.
The main reason for this is that the Valkyries allow the most three-pointers per game in the league. This season, they're giving up 10.9 per game. Cloud enters this contest with multiple three-pointers in two of her last five games. But more importantly, she's attempted at least four threes in three of her last four contests.
Not only are the Valkyries allowing the most made three-pointers, but they're also allowing the most three-point attempts. And with Sydney Taylor and Rickea Jackson out tonight, and Skylar Diggins doubtful, the only Sky player who will definitely be on the floor and has more three-point attempts than Cloud is Azura Stevens. Expect the Sky to rely much more heavily on Cloud's strengths from long range.
Natasha Howard Over 6.5 Rebounds (+108)
Since the All-Star break, Natasha Howard has been very inconsistent on the glass. In her six games since then, she has at least eight rebounds twice, but she's grabbed six or fewer rebounds in her other four games. I believe that is why the price for her over is so valuable here.
Howard has faced the Fire twice this season, pulling down six rebounds in one game and seven in the other. While those aren't the types of performances that instill blind faith in Howard entering tonight's matchup, there's a lot to like about her here.
First, Howard is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game this season. Second, Howard is averaging 29 minutes per game, but has yet to play more than 26 against the Fire this season. Still, she grabbed at least six boards in both contests. And finally, the Fire have grabbed the fewest rebounds in the league. They're the only team averaging fewer than 30 per game. This means Howard should dominate when she is on the court.
