WNBA Same Game Parlays: Mercury vs. Aces (Sunday)
We’ve got another three-game slate in the WNBA today for the Commissioner’s Cup. The nationally televised game between the Sky and Sun is at noon ET. However, it’s the earliest game of the slate and probably the least appealing matchup from an excitement standpoint. Therefore, I’ve added WNBA same game parlays for the two games being played after the Sky and Sun. Let’s get after it with our WNBA picks and predictions for Mercury vs. Aces.

Sunday’s Best WNBA Same Game Parlays: Mercury vs. Aces
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Phoenix Mercury vs. Las Vegas Aces WNBA SGP
- Leg 1: Satou Sabally Over 19.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Alyssa Thomas Over 11.5 Points (-125)
- Leg 3: Jackie Young Under 4.5 Assists (-110)
Satou Sabally has recorded at least 20 points in 64% of games this season. She’s also added at least 20 points in two consecutive games, including a 22-point performance against Seattle on June 7. In the last two games, she’s attempted 17 three-pointers combined. She’s also got three games over the last ten with at least nine free throw attempts. Sabally has become a consistent and reliable scorer for the Mercury and will now face a Las Vegas team that ranks 11th in the WNBA in points allowed to power forwards this season.
Alyssa Thomas is another power forward who should have success. She’s missed out on 12 points in three straight games, but she’s scored at least ten in all but one of her last ten matchups. Thomas has attempted 11.6 field goal attempts per game over the last ten games and has also shot nearly 50% from the floor. Again, the Aces have been terrible at defending power forwards and centers this season, so Thomas should be able to find some success tonight.
Finally, Jackie Young hasn’t recorded more than four assists in eight consecutive games. She’s hit this line in only 11% of games this season, and the Mercury rank second in the WNBA in assists allowed to shooting guards. In addition, Young had a season-high six turnovers in Las Vegas’ last game against the Dallas Wings. Phoenix defends a lot better than the Wings do.
