WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Fever vs. Aces (Sunday)

We have assembled a three-leg SGP, that will focus on the matchup between the Indiana Fever, and the Las Vegas Aces. The Fever, as well as the Aces, are dealing with ailments to their most vital offensive weapons. Caitlin Clark has already been ruled out due to back discomfort, while A'Ja Wilson will miss her third straight game dealing with a leg and ankle injury. Here is our favorite single game parlay for the WNBA for Sunday, July 5.

Indiana Fever vs. Las Vegas Aces

Jumping in with a straight forward, albeit an alternative selection, to set the groundwork for our parlay. With Caitlin Clark sidelined for this contest, a large portion of the usage could be captured by Kelsey Mitchell. Mitchell is one the best players in the league at creating their own shot. The superior speed is also a sizable advantage over any of her peers in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark makes it much easier for Mitchell to rack up points. Which means the play-making ability will have to be on full display, and the veteran guard is highly capable of that. The Fever are coming off of a 111-point performance in their last contest without Clark, where Mitchell scored 26 points in only 26 minutes played.

The guard for the Fever should hoist up anywhere from 18-24 field-goals this afternoon. This would put Kelsey Mitchell in an elite situation to score at least 20+ points. Mitchell is going to incur a ton of usage, and will be on the floor for most of this contest.

Jackie Young faces a Fever team that concedes 90 points per game to the opposition.  Indiana has allowed over 91 points through the last three games. Young should see a tremendous amount of opportunity in what could be a very high scoring affair for the Aces.

The guard for Las Vegas has reached 20+ points in five out of seven contests. Young is putting up 22.1 points on 57% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc over the last five games played. The Las Vegas guard has scored at least 25 points in two-of-three games.

As is the case with Kelsey Mitchell, Young should see a sizable bump in usage due to the Aces being without their main scoring option in A'ja Wilson. Except with Young, we get the added boost of incredibly high efficiency. If you chose to pair the two players together to score over 43 points combined, we wouldn't blame you one bit

Our last leg of this parlay focuses on the simple fact that the Aces take a massive step back, in regards to rim protection, with one of the league's best defenders not in uniform. NaLyssa Smith will have the unfortunate task of trying to stop Aliyah Boston from scoring and we strongly feel that is not going to work out well for the Aces.

Boston will have a massive size, strength, and skill advantage in the low post in this contest. Chelsea Gray's scoring range looks to be about anywhere from 8-14 points. Oddsmakers have set the points line for Boston at 18+. It's not difficult to envision the center for Indiana clearing 20 points or more without the best rim protector in the league on the floor for the Aces.

Gray predominately will not hunt for her own shot in an aggressive manner unless the shot clock is winding down. The veteran distributor for Las Vegas is as pass-first as one can be at the point guard position. Boston may see around 44 touches or more tonight between direct shooting attempts, low and high-post opportunities, and put-backs on the offensive glass.
