(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Washington Mystics (+340) at Atlanta Dream (-470) | O/U 160.5 (-108/-112)
- Leg 1: Mystics +10.5 (-115)
- Leg 2: Over 160.5 Points (-108)
- Leg 3: Angel Reese to Record a Double-Double (-160)
The Mystics (4-4) and Dream (6-3) meet at Gateway Center Arena at College Park at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Washington is coming off a 90-72 victory as 1.5-point underdogs, as the over (161.5) cashed on Tuesday. Despite that victory, the Mystics are still 2-3 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS) in the past five outings, while the over is 3-1 in the previous four contests. They’re 1-2 SU/ATS in the past three road games.
The Dream and Angel Reese lost to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Thursday as a 1.5-point underdog, as the under (173.5) cashed. Like Washington, Atlanta is 2-3 ATS in the past 5 games, while the under is 6-2 across the previous eight outings.
Even before Reese’s arrival in Atlanta, the Dream was handling the Mystics rather frequently. The Dream won the final three meetings last season and has won seven of the past 10 outings in the series since July 30th, 2023. The Dream are 6-4 ATS during that 10-game span, while the over is 3-1 in the past four.
The Dream is likely going to get the win on their home court, but the Mystics catching double digits is a bit much. And, let’s go with the over, based on Washington’s high-octane offense lately. They have scored 85+ points in three of the past four games and five of the past seven outings.
Let’s keep it simple for props, going with Reese to record a double-double. She is averaging 12.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game this season, and she has three consecutive double-doubles.
Parlay Odds: +441
Indiana Fever (+132) at New York Liberty (-162) | O/U 175.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Liberty -3.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Over 175.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Jonquel Jones to Record a Double-Double (+165)
The Fever (5-4) and Liberty (6-4) tangle at Barclays Center in Brooklyn at 8:00 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed nationally on CBS and Paramount+.
Indiana is flying high after an 83-71 win over Angel Reese and the Dream last time out, improving to 4-2 SU in the past six games, while covering four of the previous five outings. The under against Atlanta snapped a three-game over run.
New York has won and covered a season-high three straight games after opening the season 2-5 ATS in the first seven outings. The turnaround has coincided with Leonie Fiebich and Betnijah Laney-Hamilton returning to the team after fulfilling overseas commitments, giving New York additional veteran leadership and more depth.
Jonquel Jones is coming off a monster game against the expansion Toronto Tempo, posting 22 points, 17 rebounds, two blocks and four three-pointers. As we did above, we’ll keep it simple yet again for props, going with Jones to record another double-double, as she looks to stay hot.
As far as the side, we’ll back the Liberty at home, while going high on the total.
