Golden State Valkyries (+138) at Atlanta Dream (-170) | O/U 161.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Valkyries +4.5 (-114)
- Leg 2: Under 161.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Angel Reese to Record a Double-Double (-210)
The Valkyries (13-7) travel to meet the Dream (12-8) in the matinee game at Gateway Center Arena in College Park on CBS and Paramount+.
Golden State has managed a 3-4 record on the road, while Atlanta has posted a 6-2 mark on its home floor this season. These teams have met twice this season, with Golden State sweeping a back-to-back set in San Francisco. On June 24th, the Valkyries posted a 77-66 win as 1.5-point underdogs, as the under (165.5) cashed. Golden State edged Atlanta 78-75 as a 2.5-point underdog, with the under (164.5) again connecting on June 26th.
In the most recent meeting, Angel Reese went for 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Jordin Canada led the way with 23 points and three triples. However, the Dream hit just 34% (23-of-67) from the field and 30% (6-of-20) from behind the arc. Despite Reese’s presence and rebounding prowess, the Valkyries were +5 on the glass. Golden State was -4 in turnover margin, but the Valkyries had a +5 differential in blocks.
The Valkyries were led by Gabby Williams, who scored 16 points and was one of five players to score in double digits. However, Golden State was just 23% (5-of-22) from three-point range. Veronica Burton shined with four steals while finishing with 10 points. Kiah Stokes also racked up seven blocks, while going for 13 points, four rebounds and a pair of three-pointers before fouling out.
Golden State has won three in a row and covered each of those outings. It is 5-2 against the spread (ATS) in the past seven games, while the under has cashed in five straight, going 7-1 in the past eight outings.
Atlanta has dropped four straight contests and is 0-5 ATS since June 22nd. The under is 3-1 in the past four games, including both meetings with Golden State in San Francisco. The under has cashed in four straight meetings in this series.
We’ll back the Valkyries to catch the points while going low on the total. And let’s keep it simple for props. Reese is a double-double machine. Don’t bet her to grab the double-double straight up, as that will cost you more than two times your return. However, including Reese in your SGP will multiply your wager by four.

Portland Fire (+132) at Seattle Storm (-162) | O/U 169.5 (-114/-106)
- Leg 1: Fire Moneyline (+134)
- Leg 2: Over 169.5 Points (-114)
- Leg 3: Carla Leite 10+ Points (-560)
- Leg 4: Natisha Hiedeman Over 19.5 Points + Assists (-122)
- Leg 5: Awa Fam 6+ Rebounds (-102)
The Fire (8-12) and Storm (5-16) meet in a Pacific Northwest battle at 9:00 p.m. ET, and it is available to view or stream only on local/regional coverage.
These organizations have met just once, on June 17th in Portland, with the Fire coming away with a 94-89 victory, narrowly covering as a 4.5-point favorite, as the over (162.5) cashed. Seattle’s Dominique Malonga recorded 28 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals in the loss. Portland’s Carla Leite was good for 20 points and 10 assists for the only double-double for the winners. Bridget Carleton led the way with 24 points, including 7-of-13 shooting, all from behind the three-point line.
The Fire have a better overall record than the Storm, but that’s due to a decent 6-5 home mark. They are just 2-7 on the road this season, although Seattle is only 4-7 at home.
Portland is coming off a disappointing 124-123 overtime loss in Washington, although it covered as a 6.5-point underdog. The Fire are 4-2 ATS in the past six games, while the over has cashed in five consecutive outings. Its last outright win was against the Storm.
Seattle was roughed up 90-67 at Phoenix last time out as a 4.5-point underdog, halting a two-game win streak and 3-0 ATS run. The under (168.5) came in against the Mercury on Thursday, snapping a five-game over run. The over is 7-2 in the past nine games for the Storm, as they’ve allowed 88+ points in six straight and nine of the past 10 contests.
Let’s back the Fire on the Moneyline, while going over on the total. We’re really going to jack up the return on player props, however. We’re going high on the total, and we’re looking to Portland’s Leite to reach 10 points. She scored 32 points last time out in Washington and has 10+ points in eight straight games, going for 20 points and recording just her second double-double of the season against the Storm on June 17th.
In addition to Leite, Seattle’s Natisha Hiedeman is averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 assists per game. We’ll go over her player combo. She had 19 points and six assists in the first meeting in Portland. Lastly, Seattle’s Awa Fam is averaging 5.2 rebounds per game this season, and she has six or more boards in four of her past five outings. Let’s back her to get six rebounds to help us 14X our initial wager.
