(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Chicago Sky (+330) at Indiana Fever (-425) | O/U 171.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Fever -9.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Under 171.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Caitlin Clark 30+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-183)
The Sky (4-8) and Fever (6-5) tangle at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis at 7:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video. These teams met five times last season, with Indiana going a perfect 5-0 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS).
A majority of those games were without superstar Caitlin Clark. The Fever have covered nine in a row in the series, while winning eight of those matchups outright, dating back to June 1st, 2024.
Chicago shipped off Clark’s rival Angel Reese during the offseason. They are coming off an 82-75 home loss to the aforementioned Reese and the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. Chicago has dropped seven of the past eight games and is just 1-7 ATS over that span, although it did cover as a 9.5-point underdog against the visiting Dream.
The under has cashed in each of the past two games, with Chicago averaging just 71.5 points per game (PPG) and allowing 79+ points in 10 straight games since May 15th.
Indiana posted a 78-76 win at Washington last time out on Monday, but it failed to cover as 5.5-point favorites. The Fever have won just twice in their previous five outings and are 1-3 ATS in their past four games. The under has cashed in three straight.
We’ll side with the Fever to lay the big points, especially given the series trends, and let’s go low on the total based on recent trends for both sides. The Sky allows 86 PPG to rank 11th in the WNBA, and that means the Fever should be able to pile up the points.
For player props, we’re going to keep it simple and play a Clark combo, as she looks to go over 30 combined points + rebounds + assists. In the past three games, Clark is averaging 15.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. To go over on this play, she’ll need to do a little more, but that shouldn’t be a problem against the defensively-challenged Sky.
Parlay Odds: +430
Las Vegas Aces (-425) at Portland Fire (+330) | O/U 172.5 (-115/-105)
- Leg 1: Aces -9.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Under 172.5 Points (-105)
- Leg 3: A’ja Wilson 41+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)
The Aces (8-3) and Fire (6-7) meet at Moda Center in Portland at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Las Vegas picked up an impressive 101-91 win over the Seattle Storm last time out on Monday, and superstar A’ja Wilson blew up for 34 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks and a career-high nine assists. In addition, the four-time MVP became the fastest player to record 6,000 career points in WNBA history.
The Aces have picked up four straight victories, while covering three of those outings. Las Vegas failed to cover as a 15.5-point favorite against the Storm, as the over (162.5) cashed. The over is 4-2 in Las Vegas’ past six games.
For the Fire, they have dropped three straight and are 0-3 ATS over that span. As a single-digit underdog, Portland is also 0-3 ATS since May 29th. The under has cashed in two in a row and five of the past seven outings, while going 7-3 across the past 10 outings since May 18th.
As long as the line doesn’t cross 10 points, let’s go rather aggressively on the red-hot Aces. And, we’ll take the under, as Wilson and the Aces should keep the Fire down.
For props, let’s keep it simple and go with a Wilson combo prop. Portland allows 85.7 PPG, ranking ninth in the WNBA, while it also ranks ninth in defensive field-goal rate (45.4%) and defensive three-point rate (32.6%).
