(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Connecticut Sun (+750) at Atlanta Dream (-1200) | O/U 169.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Sun +14.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Over 169.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Angel Reese to Record a Double-Double (-302)
- Leg 4: Allisha Gray 15+ Points (-307)
The Sun (10-30) and the Dream (26-14) meet at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, as Atlanta tries to get back on track after the break. These are also the final days of the Connecticut Sun, as the franchise is set to relocate to Houston for the 2027 season.
The Sun have been eliminated from the postseason, while the Dream find themselves in fourth place in the league standings, a game back of the Las Vegas Aces. Atlanta has a 13-7 record both at home and on the road and has been extremely consistent, averaging 90.8 points per game (PPG), the third-best mark in the WNBA, while allowing 85.7 PPG.
On the flip side, the Sun have been terrible, going 3-17 on the road while posting a league-worst -8.9 point differential.
The Dream have won five in a row in this series, while also going 5-0 against the spread (ATS) in that span. Atlanta is 9-1 ATS in the past 10 meetings since June 28th, 2024, while the over has a 3-2 edge in the last five games. As a favorite of 9.5+ points, Atlanta is 5-0 ATS in the past five meetings in this series.
Prior to the break, Atlanta had won five of six games and was 4-2 ATS. As a double-digit favorite, though, the Dream have failed to cover in five straight games since an 111-92 win as 10.5-point favorites at Toronto on July 17th.
After a lengthy break, we’ll take the Sun catching 14.5 points, as it’s going to be hard for the Dream to re-establish themselves and cover a big number, especially going 0-5 ATS in the past five spots as a double-digit favorite. We’ll also side with the over, as Connecticut has averaged 104 PPG in its last two outings and has posted triple-digit scoring in three of its past eight. They’re just not caring much about defense as they play out the string.
For player props, we’re taking Angel Reese to notch a double-double. That’s usually a given and gets us to 3X our return. To get us across the finish line for a nicer SGP, though, we’re also taking Allisha Gray to score 15+ points. She is averaging 19.3 points per game this season and scored 15+ points in nine out of 11 games before the break.

Washington Mystics (-162) at Chicago Sky (+136) | O/U 166.5 (-115/-105)
- Leg 1: Mystics -3.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Over 166.5 Points (-115)
- Leg 3: Shakira Austin 30+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)
The Mystics (24-16) and Sky (15-25) meet at 8:00 p.m. ET at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, and this might be the closest game of the night, and the sportsbooks certainly agree. This game, or the Phoenix-Portland game, is expected to be the tightest of the night.
Washington has won seven of the past eight meetings in this series, going 6-2 ATS, while the over is 3-1 in the past four meetings. The Mystics won the only previous meeting, 90-72, as 1.5-point underdogs in the nation’s capital back on June 2nd, as the over (161.5) cashed. These teams wrap up the regular season in D.C. on September 24th.
Prior to the break, Washington was 5-2 straight up (SU), but is just 3-6 ATS in the nine games since August 11th. The over is on a 5-1 roll for the Mystics, too, as Washington has scored 80+ points in seven straight games, while allowing 82+ points in five of the previous six outings.
Chicago has dropped three in a row and is 0-3 ATS, while the Sky are 2-6 ATS in the past eight. The under is 6-1 in the past seven games since August 12th, while going 8-2 across the past 10.
We’re going to go with Washington laying the points, as Chicago struggled against the number prior to the break. And we’ll go with the over, despite Chicago’s under run. The Sky allowed 85+ points in three straight games before the hiatus.
And, for props, prior to the break, Shakira Austin was really rolling. Really, she has been rolling all season, averaging 16.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, and she had seven double-doubles in 12 games in August. We’ll simply look for her to record 30+ combined points + rebounds + assists.
