Dallas Wings @ Portland Fire
Leg #1: Dallas Wings Moneyline (-360)
With only a handful of games left this season, the Portland Fire are seemingly all but out of playoff contention.
Portland is currently 6.5 games behind the Wings, so expect the Fire to give it their all in this one, as it would certainly make things interesting from here on out. Having said that, Dallas has found their footing over the last two games, and that spells trouble for the Fire tonight.
Dallas and Portland have split victories this season. The Wings picked up the win and hung 101 points on the Fire the last time these two teams met in Portland on July 22nd. Dallas has won three out of their last five games and will look to close out the final two games at home in dominant fashion. Portland has fallen short in three of its previous five home games.
Leg #2: Awak Kuier 10+ Points + Rebounds (-670)
Awak Kuier has been a very under-the-radar, yet lucrative option over the last five games. The young forward is currently seeing a significant increase in minutes and has proven quite productive for the Wings as they battle for one of the last remaining playoff spots. We aren't looking for much with this prop. With the extended playing time, this should be a stress-free leg of our parlay.
Kuier is averaging nine points and 6.4 boards in 27 minutes on the floor through the previous five contests. She continues to show confidence both inside and outside the perimeter. The Wings forward is making 47% of her field goals and has hit six three-pointers over the last five games. Kuier hit the over in five consecutive contests.
Leg #3: Megan DiLeo & Arike Ogunbowale 4+ Combined Made Three-Pointers (-128)
This is the first of two head-to-head props where we see a small edge. Arike Ogunbowale played more of a facilitator role in the previous game for Dallas on Sunday, when the Wings matched up against Seattle.
The veteran guard dished out six assists in 22 minutes. We expect Ogunbowale to return to scoring form in the contest, while Megan DiLeo has been on quite a heater from above the perimeter as of late.
Prior to the game against Seattle, Ogunbowale was averaging 22.5 points through the prior four games. Ogunbowale has made at least two three-pointers in two consecutive games and has totaled five baskets from beyond the arc in two previous matchups against Portland this season.
DiLeo drained two or more three-pointers in four straight games for Portland. She is shooting 50% from deep over that span, while attempting at least five shots from three-point distance. DiLeo has absolutely torched Dallas from above the perimeter this season. The sharp-shooting forward combined for seven three-pointers in two contests against the Wings this season.
Leg #4: Awak Kuier & Emily Engstler 11+ Combined Rebounds (-131)
Following up on our earlier selection, the increase in minutes for Awak Kuier is the major catalyst for this prop. She has been on the floor for an average of 27 minutes over the last five games - over 10 minutes more than her season average. The Wings forward has pulled down at least six rebounds in four consecutive games and is averaging 6.5 boards in the last six contests.
Emily Engstler is also grabbing boards in a very consistent fashion, and will have to be on the floor as much as possible tonight to stave off the rebounding prowess of Kuier and Jessica Shepard. Engstler has played 27+ minutes in three out of the last four games and is averaging 5.8 boards per game over that span. The Fire forward accounted for five rebounds or more in all four games.
